NORTHCOTE TOWN HALL ONLINE TICKETING AND BOX OFFICE
Northcote Town Hall can provide a full Box Office service. This includes a secure 24 hour web based online ticketing service. We are able to handle credit card, eftpos and cash transaction, deliver point of sale service with phone bookings 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday and at the door half an hour prior to performance.
Our Online ticketing information also provides opportunities for cross marketing and promotional opportunities between events by promoting through our monthly enewsletter which includes over 1000 subscribers. We can also help out with special deals and promotional codes to assist with marketing your performance.

SELLING TICKETS
Ticketed performances and events held at Northcote Town Hall will be required to sell a 100% of their total tickets per event through the Northcote Town Hall online ticketing service and abide by Northcote Town Hall Online Ticketing Policy attached.
For ticketed performances that are a part of a major festival, tickets will be split between the festival and the venue in accordance to their agreement. Both Northcote Town Hall and the hirer will commit to releasing tickets to each other when they near the end of their allocation.
An opt out fee will apply to performances that do not wish to sell tickets through the Northcote Town Hall. See page 5 for more details and charges.

Northcote Town Hall will provide box-office and staff for each performance to all shows that are selling 100% of tickets or major festivals.

The Box Office will also be open at least one hour prior to the performance time at the venue where your event is being held (only applicable if a Northcote Town Hall Box Office Person has been selected to sell tickets at your event).
TICKET FEES AND CHARGES
$2.50 per ticket sold (inside charge ) General seating.
$3.00 per ticket sold (inside charge) Allocated seating.
$5.00 per transaction booking fee for phone bookings.
$2.50 per transaction booking fee for internet bookings.
A fee of 60c per ticket will be charged for all complimentary tickets issued, and tickets block printed to be sold by hirer.
If you do not wish to utilise the Northcote Town Hall ticketing services, there will be an opt-out fee which will apply to each performance (please complete page 5 of this form for this option). Opt-out fees are:
Studio 1 – $90 per performance
Studio 2 – $60 per performance
Main Hall – $300 per performance
We can also help with special deals and promotional codes to assist with marketing your performance. Example, if you would like to give away tickets, we can create a code for patrons to purchase these tickets online and send it to our subscribers. This information needs to be provided on initial set up. If it not, you will incur a $20 fee for each promotion created.
The venue, day, date and time of performance, and seat number will be printed on the ticket automatically. Please refer to venue hire forms or contact staff for general admission capacity and floor plans for nominated hired space. The Northcote Town Hall may need to adjust prices to fit in with programming and ticketing system requirements. These details must be discussed prior to advertising. No advertising is to be undertaken until this application is received and approved in writing.

NB: All tickets must include the inside charge of $2.50 general seating or $3.00 allocated seating per ticket. eg. The total ticket price is $13 - Northcote Town Hall collects $3, the hirer collects $10.
Please read our ticketing policy in regards to our ticket refunds and exchanges policy. No reservations will be taken, phone pre-sales (credit card only) and counter sales (cash, eftpos & credit card) only. Mail bookings can be made with a cheque or money order. However, the booking will only be processed when the cheque or money order is received. Mail bookings must be received no later than two weeks prior to the performance.

Children under the age of 2 can be admitted without a ticket, provided they sit on their parent’s lap and do not occupy a seat. Any patron causing a disturbance during a performance is required to leave the theatre. Parents wishing to bring babies to a show not classified as a “family” performance should be advised to book tickets near a door, to enable a quick exit and minimal disruption should the baby make any distracting sound. Please note that some of our spaces have restrictions with pram access. In these cases, prams must be left in the foyer.

It is requested that you please provide Northcote Town Hall with sufficient information and any promotional material as soon as possible so that we will be better equipped to sell your event. No advertising or pre-bookings of performances is to be undertaken until booking and ticketing applications have been approved in writing and formal confirmation has been received from the Northcote Town Hall.

NORTHCOTE TOWN HALL ONLINE TICKETING POLICY

1. Booking Information

a.  Patrons can book tickets for events at Northcote Town Hall at anytime online at www.northcotetownhall.com.au Tickets booked by phone on t: 9481 9500, tty: 8470 8696 or in person at Northcote Town Hall reception 189 High Street Northcote, can only be done during business hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

b.  All bookings must be paid in advance. Phone or web bookings require payment with Visa or Mastercard, and bookings in person may also be paid with cash, cheque or EFTPOS.

c.  Northcote Town Hall does not accept Diners Club or American Express credit cards.

d.  Group bookings made by organizations can be invoiced upon request.

e.  All prices quoted are inclusive of GST and ticketing fees where applicable.

2. Ticket Collection

a.  All bookings will be available for collection from our Northcote Town Hall reception within the half hour prior to the ticketed event, unless otherwise advised.

b.  All patrons are advised to bring ID when collecting tickets, and relevant concession cards where applicable.

c.  Uncollected tickets will not be re-sold.

d.  Latecomers will be subject to entry as specified by the event producer.

3. Concessions

Northcote Town Hall reserves the right to ask patrons to pay the difference for a full priced ticket if a concession card is not presented upon ticket collection. A valid card must be shown to Box Office for every concession ticket collected. Northcote Town Hall offers concession priced tickets to:

i.  Full-time Students,

ii.  Children aged 16 and under

iii.  Health Care Card Holders

iv.  Pension and Card Holders

v.  Seniors Card Holders

4. Babes-in-arms

5. Companion Card Scheme

a.  Patrons wishing to use this system must notify Northcote Town Hall at the time of booking and bring their card with them when collecting tickets.

b.  Each bearer of the card is entitled to one free House seat to the event they are purchasing a ticket for; staff are advised to use the “Carer” subtype for House seats booked in this fashion.

c.  People with temporary disabilities are NOT eligible for the Companion Card scheme.
