**Dogs may be entered in a maximum of 4 Agility classes. Dogs entered in class 3 (Nursery) may not enter classes 1 & 2 (Open).**

**Dogs may be entered in a maximum of 2 Obedience classes. Dogs should be entered in their lowest class plus one other if desired. Dogs entered in class 6 (Elementary) may not enter class 9 (Novice).**

Trophies will be awarded to all class winners. Rosettes and prize cards will be awarded 1st – 6th place in each class. Clear round rosettes will be available in all Agility classes and runoff rosettes in all Obedience classes. Specials will be awarded to the Best Junior Handler (6 –18yrs) in all classes andHighest PlacedTibetan Terrier in classes 1 and 2. Running orders and the order of judging to be announced once entries have closed. We reserve the right to make alterations to the above judges subject to number of entries received. 28/03/07

Agility Class Classification

The jump height for classes 1, 2, 4 and 5 will be scheduled at the specified Kennel Club height classifications for small, medium and large as stated below. Class 3 jump height will be 1ft 1.75ins for all competitors. One set of awards will be presented in each class.

Small Height - For dogs measuring 1ft 1.75ins (350mm) or under at the withers. Jump Height for Small Dogs will be 1ft 1.75ins (350mm)

Medium Height – For dogs measuring over 1ft 1.75ins (350mm) and those measuring 1ft 5ins (430mm) or under at the withers. Jump Height for Medium Dogs will be 1ft 5.7ins (450mm)

Large Height - – For dogs measuring over 1ft 5ins (430mm) at the withers. Jump Height for Large dogs will be 2ft 1.6ins (650mm)

All Small and Medium height dogs and dogs that have not competed in agility prior to the 1st January 2006 must be measured prior to competition. Dogs must be over 18 months on the day of the show to compete. There will be one agility ring, which will have perimeter fencing, and all classes will have electronic timing. The agility equipment will be provided by Premier Show Jumps.

1) Open Jumping (Limited to 50 entries)

Open to all breeds and Grades 1-7 (Combined). Standard jumping course including a 12 pole weave.

2) Open Agility (Limited to 50 entries)

Open to all breeds and Grades 1-7 (Combined). Standard agility course including a 12 pole weave.

3) Tibetan Terrier Nursery Jumping **(Special Class)**

For handlers or dogs that have not competed at a Kennel Club licenced Open or Championship Agility test or any A.K.C, F.C.I or I.K.C Agility event.The jump height forthis class will be 1ft 1.75ins. The course will be flowing and consist of jumps and pipe tunnels. (No weaves, tyre, long jump or flat tunnel).**Note: Dogs entered in class 3 may not enter classes 1 and 2.**

4)Tibetan Terrier Agility **(Special Class)** Grades 1-7 (Combined)

This will be an agility course containing contact equipment, jumps, long jump, pipe and flat tunnels and tyre (no weaves).

5) Tibetan Terrier Jumping**(Special Class)**Grades 1-7 (Combined)

This will be a jumping course containing jumps, long jump, pipe and flat tunnels, tyre and a 6 pole weave.

A pay on the day class may be held if time and weather permit.

Obedience Class Classification

Dogs may enter a maximum of 2 obedience classes. Dogs should be entered in their lowest class plus one other if desired.

6) Tibetan Terrier Elementary **(Special Class)**

For handlers or dogs that have not competed at a Kennel Club licenced Open or Championship Obedience test or any A.K.C, F.C.I or I.K.C Obedience event. Handlers will not be penalised for encouragement or extra commands except in the stay test.**Note: Dogs entered in class 6 may not enter class 9.**

Handlers will not be penalised for encouragement or extra commands except in the sit and down tests.

AGILITY RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. / Dogs entered at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows must be registered at the Kennel Club in accordance with Kennel Club Regulations for Classification and Registration B. The registration number/Authority to Compete number will be required for each entry
2. / Entry fee £3.50 per dog per class. Not For competition £1.00 per dog.
3. / The show will open at 9am. Judging will commence at 10.00am.The Show will close half an hour after all judging has been completed
4. / The Committee reserves to itself the right to refuse entries
5. / Puppies under 18 calendar months of age on the first day of the Show are not eligible to compete for Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows.
6. / Not For Competition entries will be accepted for dogs aged four calendar months and over. Dogs must be Kennel Club registered with their details recorded on the entry form.
7. / The mating of bitches within the precincts of the Show is forbidden.
8. / No bitch in season is allowed to compete.
9. / No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time within the boundaries of the Show.
10. / Dogs must not wear any type of slip, half-slip collar or lead when under test. A flat, close fitting, leather or webbing collar is permitted, providing the only attachment is a plain identification panel as an integral part of the collar i.e. not attached by a ring.
11. / Should a judge be unable to fulfil the appointment to judge the Committee reserves the right to appoint another judge.
12. / No competitor shall impugn the decision of the judge or judges
13. / All offers of sponsorship or donations with the names of the sponsors will be published in the catalogue.
14. / Kennel Club Standard marking Regulations apply
15. / Height of the jump obstacles. Height of hurdles Large dogs will be 2ft 1.6ins (650mm). Medium dogs will be 1ft 5.7ins (450mm). Small dogs will be 1ft.1.75ins (350mm). Max. height of other obstacles as K.C. H (1)(B)Regs.
16. / The Height limit for dogs.
a. / Large Dogs - For dogs measuring over 1ft 5ins (430mm) at the withers.
b. / Medium Dogs - For dogs measuring over 1ft 1.75ins (350mm) and those measuring 1ft 5ins (430mm) or under at the withers.
c. / Small Dogs - For dogs measuring 1ft 1.75ins (350mm) or under at the withers.
17. / Judges at an Agility Show may not enter for competition a dog, which is recorded in their ownership or part ownership; or handle a dog at the Show at which they are judging.
18. / A dog shall be withdrawn from competition and removed from the Agility Show if it is:-
a. / A bitch, which is in season.
b. / Suffering from any infectious diseases or contagious disease.
c. / Interfering with the safety or chance of winning of an opponent.
d. / Of such temperament or is so much out of hand as to be a danger to the safety of any person or other animal.
e. / Likely to cause suffering to the dog if it continues competing.
19. / In estimating the number of awards won, all wins up to and including 7 days before the date of closing of entries shall be counted when entering for any class (22nd June 2007).
20. / It is the competitors' responsibility to be available for their class and running order.
21. / Handlers working more than one dog in a class must ensure that the dogs compete in the sequence in which they are drawn. Failure to do so may result in elimination.
22. / Should circumstances so dictate the Society, in consultation with the Judges may alter arrangements as necessary. Such changes and the circumstances surrounding them must be reported to the Kennel Club.
23. / At the time of entry for the Competition, dogs must be registered as required by the Kennel Club Rules & Regulations in the Competitors' name (or registration or transfer applied for). In the case of a partnership the full name of every partner must be given. In the case of dogs recorded as owned by a limited company, the directors and the secretary of the limited company will jointly be considered for the purpose of the Regulations. A dog acquired subsequent to entry having been made at a Competition may compete as the new owners' property provided that an application for the transfer has been forwarded to the Kennel Club before the Competition, and the new owner has undertaken to abide by the Regulations and conditions of the original entry form.
24. / No animal other than one officially entered shall be brought into the precincts of the event during its continuance, except any dogs registered to assist the disabled, or dogs required for educational or instructional purposes or by permission of the General Committee.
However, at the discretion of the show society, a dog brought to the show by a spectator may be admitted into the precincts of the dog show, with the proviso that those in charge of the dog sign a declaration confirming the dog is free from disease and that the dog will be kept under proper control at all times.
25. / All dogs resident outside the UK must be issued with a Kennel Club Authority to Compete number before entry to the show/event can be made. All overseas entries without a Kennel Club Registration number or an Authority to Compete number will be returned to the exhibitor/competitor.
26. No dogs suffering from infectious or contagious disease or having been exposed to such disease during the period of 21 days prior to the Competition may compete. Competitors infringing the Regulation will be liable to be fined and/or dealt with under Kennel Club Rule A42.
27. A pay on the day class will be held if time permits.
28. Food shall not be carried in the hand or given to a dog in the ring.
29. Separate entry forms must be completed by each Competitor and must be signed by the Competitor or his authorised agent in accordance with the provisions specified thereon. Entry forms must be accompanied with the appropriate fees.
OBEDIENCE RULES & REGULATIONS
1. Dogs entered at Kennel Club licensed Obedience Shows must be registered at the Kennel Club in accordance with Kennel Club Regulations for Classification and Registration B.
(a)The Show will open at 9am.
(b)Judging will commence at 10.00am.
2. In classes without a full running order dogs will be received until one hour after the commencement of judging (11.00am) afterwhich no dogs may be received except under unforeseen and exceptional circumstances and by special permission of the Show Management. The order of judging and running orders will be sent to all exhibitors 14 days prior to the date of the show.
3. The Show will close half an hour after all judging has been completed.
4. Entry fees £3.50 per dog per class. Not for competition £1.00 per dog.
5. The Committee reserves to itself the right to refuse entries.
6. All dogs registered and resident outside the UK must be issued with a Kennel Club Authority to Compete number before entry to the show/event can be made. All overseas entries without an Authority to Compete number will be returned to the exhibitor/competitor.
7. No animal other than one officially entered shall be brought into the precincts of the event during its continuance, except any dog registered to assist the disabled, or dogs required for educational or instructional purposes, or by permission of the General Committee.

8. Puppies under six calendar months of age on the first day of the Show are not eligible for competition at Kennel Club licensed Obedience Shows.
9. The mating of bitches within the precincts of the Show is strictly forbidden.

11. A dog shall be disqualified and removed from the Show if it is: -
  1. A bitch, which is in season.
  2. Suffering from any infectious or contagious disease.
  3. Interfering with the safety or chance of winning of an opponent.
  4. Of such temperament or is so much out of hand as to be a danger to the safety of any person or other animal.
  5. Likely to cause suffering to the dog if it continues competing.

12. After a dog has commenced competing in a Class, no substitution of handler is permitted in that Class.
13. No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time within the boundaries of the Show.
14. Should a judge be unable to fulfil the appointment to judge the Committee reserves the right to appoint another judge.
15. No competitor shall impugn the decision of the Judge or Judges.
16. Should circumstances so dictate the Society, in consultation with the judges, may alter arrangements as necessary. Such changes and the circumstances surrounding them must be reported to the Kennel Club.
17. The maximum number of entries allowed in any class is 60. If the entry received exceeds 60, the class shall be equally divided (to within one dog) by a draw. If the resulting individual class entry, after division, exceeds 60 a further division of the total class entry shall take place so that each equal division of the class is 60 or less. In all classes, if the entry received exceeds 50 the class may, at the discretion of the Society, be equally divided by a draw (to within one dog). If the resulting individual class entry, after division, exceeds 50 a further division of the total entry may take place so that each equal division of the class is 50 or less.
18. Where classes are divided, competitors entered therein shall be notified of all changes and timed stay exercises must not be held earlier than advertised for the original class.
19. Timed stays will take priority over other tests.
20. For the duration of the Show, and including those in the exercise area, all dogs must be on a lead except when competing or practicing prior to the competition.
21. Ballot for Running Orders
(i) / A ballot to determine the running order for at least the first 10 competitors/dogs in each class will be drawn. This may be reduced to 6 where there are less than 25 dogs entered in the class.

(iii) / The relevant competitors will be notified before the day of the Show
In classes where there is not a full running order all competitors must personally report to the ringside of all classes entered and book in, by marking a list of entries, within one hour of the scheduled time for the commencement of judging of the Class
(iv) / All published running orders must be strictly observed. Competitors reporting late will be excluded from competition unless they have previously reported to the Chief Steward that they are actually working a dog in the Stay test of another class,
22.No dog shall be allowed in the judging ring other than those competing in the class being judged.
23. Nothing may be carried, worn or displayed by a handler or a dog during judging which is capable of indicating the identity of the dog or owner nor must anything be said or any action taken which identifies the dog other than by exhibit number.
24. Any dog, which is not presented for stay exercises when called for testing will be considered to have withdrawn from the class.
25. Food shall not be carried or given to a dog under test.
26. All offers of sponsorship or donation will e included in the catalogue with the names of the sponsors.
27. After the commencement of judging the responsibility for dogs being brought to the ring to compete is entirely the competitors.
28. No modifications will be made to this schedule except by permission of the General Committee of the Kennel Club, which will be followed by advertisement in the Canine Press wherever possible
29. Not for competition entries will be accepted for dogs aged four calendar months and over. Dogs must be Kennel Club registered with their full details recorded on the entry form
30. In estimating the number of awards won, all wins up to and including 7 days before the date of closing of entries shall be counted when entering for any class (22nd June 2007).
