I have a surprise, bring a coat and be ready at 5 a.m.!” She drives from her beach home to go and pick up each of her 3 girlfriends Kandie, Chantel, and Leilani. They are all young and exotic looking like her. She picks them up in a 2009 hot pink Maserati convertible with zebra print interior and all the girls are wondering why they were told to bring coats when they live in Miami. They get valet parking at the Miami airport and all fly first class to Minnesota this is when Bubbles tells them that she has a surprise, the girls will all take a flight to the biggest mall in United States, the Mall of America in Minnesota. The girls are all excited and can’t stop talking about what they will buy and thank Bubbles for setting up their day trip. It was easy for her to set it up because she works for United Airlines and is currently dating the pilot of the flight, so he helped her to set it up.
They talk on the flight about how they need to make over their looks because they are starting to look the same every time they go out. While they are on the flight the pilot sends them complementary champagne where they all toast and celebrate their spontaneous trip. Bubbles goes to the front and gives her pilot boyfriend a kiss to thank him.
Once the girls get to the Mall, they decide to stop by Caribou coffee and get some mochas and lattes to wake themselves up and start their big shopping spree. They decide they need to go check out the make-up stores first. They stop by MAC and get their eye shadow done and buy some of the new season colors. They also stop by Sephora and buy some foundation and lipstick. Bubbles pays for all the girls make-up since she has the most money and the girls all thank her for the new looks.
They decide to go look at the clothing stores to shop for clothes for their night-life. They stop by Bebe and try on a few blouses and dresses and buy what they like. They also decide to stop by Burberry and get some new perfume and accessories. They then go to Nordstrom’s where they buy some new heels and all of them buy a new bikini. They decide to stop by Prada and where Bubbles purchases a new pair of shades for the hot Miami sun. They all then go to Gucci to look at their handbags and Kandie decides to purchase one.
By this time it is around lunch and all the girls decide to check out the Mall of America’s Kokomo’s Island Café where the atmosphere looks like a rainforest and the girls all enjoy fresh fish and teriyaki chicken and Bubbles treats them all again.
Afterward they stop by Aldo and Steve Madden to buy some new shoes. Bubbles buys some white leather go-go boots and some red 4 inch spike heels which she swears will go good with a new dress she bought in Miami. After that the girls decide to go solo for a couple of hours and they go on to buy some silk Versace dresses, the new style of diamond pumps by Jimmy Choo, Chantel buys a diamond bracelet from the Chic Boutique and Leilani buys a Rolex watch for her boyfriend at Goodman’s jewelers . Bubbles takes this time to check out photography from Rodney Lough Jr. a beloved photographer who sells his art at a shop in the mall. It is there where she meets an Italian man and she explores the art gallery with him, his name is Romeo and he shares her love of art. She exchanges numbers with him and tells him she will be in touch soon. She decided to buy a 15”x 40” artist’s proof of waterfalls entitled MossbraeFalls to put in her at-home art gallery which she charges the $7849 cost on her Visa. She also buys some Stephanie dance shoes for her salsa classes because hers have worn down considerably and she believes it has affected her dancing.
At the end of the day they get a cab back to the airport and check in all of their new purchases and then all fall asleep once they get into their seats. They can’t wait to get back to Miami and show off all of the new things they bought on their $18,000 shopping spree. They love the idea that they went somewhere different this time because it will be hard for the other girls in Miami to imitate their looks considering they bought them thousands of miles away.
Scene 2: Showing the Goods

She decides she should play Latin music so that she can show off her dancing skills and decides to wear her Jimmy Choo diamond pumps initially but when she starts dancing to switch to her new Stephanie dance shoes. She calls Don Paella catering service to bring some hors d’oeuvres and wine for her guests to eat. A few hours before the party she goes to her hair stylist at Avalon Hair design to get her hair done upfor the night. She decided to personally invite her pilot boyfriend while at work and has him come a little early to set up, she thanks him for helping her set up her shopping spree.
As the people arrive she shows her beach home to the guests who have never seen it. She shows and tells them about her new art and her trip to Mall of America. As the guests ask, she tells them of her unique attire and who it is by and where she bought it. She hires a hypnotist for some entertainment and her guests love it and are laughing during the whole show. She dances salsa to the Latin music with whoever asks her. She has a great night. She lets some of her friends spend the night in her guest room at the end of the night.
The next day Bubbles and the girls all take a beach trip to show off some of their new beach wear. They rend out some boogie boards at American Water Sports and decide to try out boogie boarding and have a great time. The next day Bubbles is off to work, she flies to New York City and back and when she is done she decides she can fit in another salsa class before she decides to call it a day. Nothing really changes too much from her Minnesota trip except the fact that she met a guy while at the Mall of America who she has planned a trip to Italy with and she falls asleep thinking about how she will break it off with the pilot because it has become too serious.
