News Letter July 2015
JULY 2015 showed to be a new start to a new year. It isn’t clear if we made a Double Star this year or not, trying to get clarification from State. If we look back on this year’s accomplishments, many things can be stated. However, the main thing that stood out is “hard work”, again paid off. Thanks to all who participated and keep up the good work!
This year’s projects include a good variety from helping the needy, food drive, youth activities, pancake breakfasts, fish fry’s, money making projects: to include Charity Raffle Drive and Schwan Food Drive to name a few. This will help with our donations this year!
Church projects suggestions: the 5th Sunday of the Month Rosary before Mass, more to come from Dick Miller on this project. Also, a new project would be to have a Corporate Mass. Please support our Church Director Dick Miller in these projects. This goes directly to our Mission Statement.
Projects on the Horizon: Food Drive Aug. 1-2 and 8-9, 15-16, Pancake Breakfast Labor Day weekend Sept., Schwan’s Campaign, Fall Fest - Sept., PPK / Soccer and Essay contest and Awards Night.
Time to join committees! Each of you, needs to sign up and attend a committee meeting We need your Support!
Youth: Roger is continuing with membership drives for the Squires. New youth activities suggested life teen, involving a possible 30-40 youth doing community projects per Jerry Kuta. More to come!
Culture of Life: Paul has put in an order for Life Savers and will be proceeding with this project.
Membership; Jonathan is proceeding with membership drives and has some New ideas!
