We had an amazing week. We loved our sharing homework for the first time and we are now Aa experts. We found all of the circles in our classroom on our circle hunt. At the end of the week we ate ants for cooking snack. They were delicious. We are getting really good at singing our 5 Little Pumpkins song. Ask your child to perform it for you. We used our fine motor skills to lace a spider web and we learned to read like a TK with our I See Halloween book. Look for it to go home in the library book baggie.

This week we will be focusing our studies on the letter and sound for Mm.

Remember to bring your sharing on your share day. Practice those clues so you

will be ready to tell them to the class. We will also be reviewing the shape square. How many squares are in your house? We will be doing things with the color orange and we will put the finishing touches on our clay ghosts. We will be learning about a new artist in our Art Explorers class. We can’t wait to create something new. On Thursday, we will participate in a city wide disaster drill. We will be doing some experiments with pumpkins so on Friday, please send a pumpkin of any size (that your child can carry) to school. Please write your child’s name on the bottom of the pumpkin.

Here are some of the activities we will be doing this week:

oHandwriting Without Tears activities, Alphabet phonics book, Rainbow journal writing book
