The number of individuals who attended Fairview Presbyterian Church’s “Women’s Tea” on May 5th. Thank you to Cindy Heidler, Sue Johnson, Rosie Tuten, Gina Case, Edie Leuschen, Betsy Mitcho, Joyce Getz, Theresa Weber, Louise Hutchinson and Michele McNally for their organization and decorating for this event. It was a great time of fellowship not only for our church but for the community as well.

Food Collection Sort

Following the Pentecost Party today, help is needed to pull out all the food collected from the Post Office Collection on May 12. Please plan to stay about a half an hour.Kids can help too!

Help is also needed this Monday through Thursday sorting and boxing it, to be put back in the storage room.

May 15 Election Bake Sale

THANK YOU to all those who provided baked goods for the May 15 Election! Thank you to Edie Leuschen for running the Sale, and to Carol Sample & Pat Brown for their help. $155.50 was raised!

Community Chorus

A Community Chorus will sing at the Memorial Day Service in the Fairview Cemetery on Monday, May 28, 2018.

Anyone who loves to sing, loves people, loves America, and is high school age or older, can be a part of this! There is only ONE rehearsal on Wednesday, May 23 at 7:30 pm at the Fairview United Methodist Church. A time of “treats” to follow!

Flea Market/Vendor Show

There will be a Flea Market here this Saturday, May 26 from

8 am – 1 pm. If anyone is interested in selling their used items and renting a table, please call Adam Goodman at 814-580-8468.

Any Vendors interested – there will be a Vendor Show here on Saturday, June 9, proceeds going to Tamarack Wild Life Refuge.

Please call Adam Goodman to reserve a table.

Suitcases Needed

About 8 more large suitcases are needed to take the remainder of the school supplies to Belize. If anyone can donate some, please drop them off at the church office.

VBS Needs

Our joint VBS with Fairview United Methodist Church is July 23- 27, held there. Below is a list of what we need help with. If you are interested in anything, please let Leslie Foland or Amy in the office know ASAP.

•Helpers for the kitchen, during dinner and snack (6-8)

•Group leaders to chaperone the various groups of children (5-7)

•Photographer to take pictures during the week and compile a

slide show for Sunday (1-3)

•Actor's for drama (6-8)

•On call substitute volunteers (4-5)

•Preschool classroom workers (3 -4)

•Volunteers to help with decorations (Many)

•Volunteers to help with set up (Many)

•Volunteers to help with tear down (many)

We also need donations for a basket that will be “raffled off.” Tickets will be awarded to parents who register for VBS early.Suggestions are a summer toys basket, movie basket, picnic basket with a food gift card, basket with tickets to places around town such as Tinsel Town, Waldameer, Erie Zoo, Erie Insurance events etc.

Let Leslie or Amyknow if you can donate anything.
