  1. Understand key information relating to using scripting languages in interactive media products
/ 1.1.Explain programming principles and best practice guidelines relating to using scripting languages in interactive media products
1.2.Explain how to write efficient, reusable code that is easy to debug and maintain
1.3.Analyse the implications for design and development of using live data and database-driven content
1.4.Identify key aspects of standards and interoperability conventions relating to using scripting languages in interactive media products
1.5.Explain differences between development, staging and live web servers
1.6.Analyse current technical trends showing how they will affect scripting languages in the future
  1. Be able to develop code for interactive media products
/ 2.1.Analyse project parameters and constraints including target platforms and their capabilities
2.2.Demonstrate the functions and syntax of the selected scripting language
