This senior selective rotation offers a wide exposure to clinical research insubstanceuse disorders, including concurrent disorders. The emphasis is on clinical studies of tobacco dependence, gambling disorders, opioid dependence, personality disorders, including laboratory studies, clinical interventions, neuroimaging, genetics, behavioural and psychopharmacological interventions.
The resident joins a research team, and will be exposed to contemporary research methods in addiction psychiatry.
It is suggested that residents interested in this elective contact the coordinators above well in advance to allow the creation of an individualized training experience and a matching of experiences and supervisors.
