Thingsare going slow on thisfundraiserto help the Drays!

Just as info, Edwin Shaw was not in a position to take Spencer;Sheranhas had to do a lot of research to findother locations throughout the USthat could and would help Spencer.Craig Hospitalfrom Denver, COcameto Hudson a week or so ago to see if they felt their facilitycouldhelp Spencer get back on hisfeet.Sheranand Larry will benefit somewhat in that her family is from the Denver area; she has no family around here.

Overcoming a brain injury is a longjourney; the sooner Spencer is in the hands of trained therapists the better. On a personal note, my grandson is still having problems overcoming the head injury hegot playing football last year; these boys are worth allthe effort it takes to get them back to normal.

In case you are not aware of the situationthe Draysfind themselves in:

Spencer Dray, Sheran Drays sonhad an automobile accident5 months agothat resulted in traumatic brain injury; he has been in 3 different hospitals, each helping him through the various stages of recovery. They could not tell how badhis injuries were until the swelling in his brain went down enough for them to actually see the damage through MRI’s. They were able to do MRI’s a week ago and found that the stem of the brain was not damaged; that means Spencer has a chance tolive a normal life with lots of therapyaimed at reteaching his brain and body to work together.

Craig Hospital in Denver, CO is one of the best rehabilitation hospitals in the US; they have agreed to help Spencer through the rest of his recovery.

Please help his family raise the funds to transportSpencer, any amount will help!http://www.youcaring.com/medical-fundraiser/help-spencer-on-his-long-road-to-recovery/245632#.VDYgN9dwbEI.facebook

Sheran and Spencer are leaving for Denver at 6 AM Wednesdaywith or without our help.If you have tried to donate and the site didn’t let you please let me know.

We are all proud of the progress that Spencer has made over the last few months, it is obvious there is a higher power involved in his successes; I’m looking forward to seeing him walk off the plane when he comes back to us.

The Lord is still in the healing business; and, He still answers prayer; remember to thank him for his mercy!
