… for as long as the mountains stand and the rivers flow …

Our Credo:

Attached are some of our individual specialties; but also what moves us and gets our creative juices flowing in our field as Psychologists. - Reverend Dr. Manclaw is an exper-ienced, dedicated, multiple degreed, Principal/Senior Engineer/MBA - Communications, Psychologist/Mental Health Care Practitioner, Pastoral Care Chaplain/Administrators.

More than anything else it is our prayer for an ‘Universe &World at Peace’; for all society, all of citizens and for “you”. At its minimum, our practice is about the combining of human senses with spiritual senses (including alien non-norm-ed, non-normalized exper-iences) to extend what Psychologists in our field call ‘The Third Psychology’. We have implemented into our practice, what we call ‘Individualistic Humanoid Behaviorism’; a true practical leap for mankind towards a new Life Experience; the beginning of ‘The Fourth Psychology’ which includes all creator-based religions, all psychic reality, and spirituality.

My practice is an implementation of spiritually-based, well-considered, documented, human behavioral movement; cornerstones, built upon well established and long imple-mented principles of Behavioral and other modern Psychology. At best, we seek to help ‘you’ to instill and promulgate an absolute knowing that you need not doubt yourself to attain a ‘certain established-level of peace’ within yourself, your being. I, like many of us, are knowledge-able, ordained chaplains able to minister diverse religions, psychic and spiritualism and our Ministry support team is licensed, degreed and very effective; and not easily duped, nor oft chronically misled.

Brief and Intensive Counseling Plans (including Grief Counseling) The psychotherapeutic, mental health and counseling world has many types of professionals, each with different training, different qualifications, and a different approach. Licenses may be important if you're looking for a therapist who can work with a psychiatrist who prescribes medication or who is expert in a particular problem area like drug addiction. But in general, good therapy is more about finding a therapist who works well with you and, as appropriate, your family. KFC’s field of practice(s) guide includes:

Counselor/Social Worker
This is a term to cover a number of activities in the field of psychotherapy. Our counselors all have master's degrees or other certifications in more specialized fields such as counseling, psychology, social work, substance abuse treatment, mediation, anger management, and family therapy. Practitioners generally must complete at least two years of supervised practice before obtaining a license. Like social workers, they work in private practice as well as in schools and hospitals. Social workers commonly hold a master of social work degree, or M.S.W., and have completed two years of supervised practice in order to obtain their clinical licenses to become L.C.S.W’s. While many work in private practice, social workers often work in schools, community clinics and government agencies. (National Association of Social Workers)

Marriage and Family Therapist
Marriage and family therapists, (L.M.F.T.s), receive master's or doctoral degrees specializing in family and interpersonal dynamics. They treat individuals in the context of family relation-ships, addressing issues from anger and resentment to intimacy and communication skills. Our treatment by our marriage and family therapist is typically brief (20 sessions or less) and solution-focused. Since 1970, the number of states licensing marriage and family therapists has grown and is well regarded. (American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists)

Certified Mental Health Counselor
This is a relatively new certification whose practitioners take an intense, practical approach rather than Psychiatrists’ Approach (who are medical doctors). CMHC’s can diagnose some mental disorders and provide counseling for both substance abuse and co-occurring dis-orders. They can work with psychiatrists, who prescribe appropriate psychotropic drugs for stabilization, then work with the client’s thought patterns to evoke positive change.

Ph.D.
Doctor of Philosophy. This academic degree is usually earned in four to seven years. Many psychologists, therapists, counselors and coaches hold a doctorate of philosophy. A Ph.D. in psychology typically teaches theory as well as statistics and data gathering. Psychologists (or Psy.D.) with a Ph.D. are also fully trained in the assessment and treatment of all behavioral conditions, from anxiety and depression to anger and resentment. Recently, due to increased, new credentialing requirements, extension doctorate programs have begun to augment areas within the Third Psychology Ministerial Counseling where psychologists, therapists, counsel-ors and/or coaches with Ph.D.’s are not qualified. (American Psychological Association)

Kinder Family Counseling Services (KFC Services) ProfessionalsD.Min./D.Div.
The D.Min, doctor of ministry is an advanced professional degree for those in the practice of ministry or Psycholigical and Mental Health counseling and administration. It usually also includes a Ph.D., a doctor of philosophy (or, a Psy.D.; doctor of psychology degree) and may differ from a standard Ph.D.due to the required 3000 hour supervised practicum. In the new Millennia, D.Div.’susually are required to have the most certifiable counseling experience, a Ph.D., and the focus is on competence in the cost effective, replicatable practice of ministerial and psychological counseling, including intense and severe senior counseling situations (may involve medication interdictions and/or interactions) rather than just being concerned with advanced academic research, data collection and/or plan certifications. There are many different tracks of study: in Pastoral Ministry, for example as with KFC Services CEO, Reverend Dr. Ron Manclaw, D.Div./Ph.D, the degree candidates must first receive a Masters of Divinity (and B.Div.), and then have at least three years' supervised experience in a full-time pastoral care ministry. The D.Div. programs’ supervised practicum often takes more than ten (10) years to complete. (e.g., Dr. Manclaw’s academic and certification program took nearly fourteen years to complete.) (The Association of Theological Schools).

Depending upon the situation, whether individual, group or family, our fees on a sliding scale, range from $120 to $250 per hour, per person served, depending upon ability to pay and the certification level required of the practitioner and/or of their supervisor. Note #1: KFC Services rates are extremely competitive for mental health support and psycho-therapeutic counseling services in our local delivery service area; in south Florida. Note #2: We reserve the right to charge for any/all preparation of court order-ed reports and/or support documentation for KFC or our Ministry Services at up $350/hour, plus any/all adjunct professional services on a cost plus per diem basis; incl. travel.
