Current sophomores or juniors can apply to work at the shop from 1-3pm everyday and receive not only valuable hands-on training, but also high school credit as part of the internship. If you are interested, stop in the counseling office for an application.

  • We hope everyone can make it to the Bellevue Public Schools Food Truck Rally tonight. It is at the Lied Activity Center from 5-8pm and will benefit the BPS Staff and Student Recognition program. Loli Pop Da Clown and her friends will be doing face painting and balloon art. There will also be live performances from the Bellevue East Pep Band and the Bellevue West Drama Department.
    Volunteers from East & West will also be working with Green Bellevue tonight to make the rally one of Bellevue’s First-Ever “Zero-Waste” events. Virtually nothing from the rally will end up in a landfill.

  • The first round of the Jaylin Cox 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, sponsored by EdRising and Freshmen Senate, was a huge success.
    Yesterday in 1st round action, the "ROTC team" headed by Matt Stephans put up a good fight but was ultimately defeated by Tevin Tanner, Joe Dolincheck, and Cedric Johnson of "Team Yerm" 23-11. "Team Yerm" will go on to play the #1 Seed "Justice League" made up of Trey Hepburn, Louis Fidler, and John Shanklin today during GPS.
    In other 1st round action, "The Scrubs" led by Jacob Coldanghise, upset Team "Run, Jump, Ball" comprised of Ty Reynolds, James Radziunas, Daniel Campbell, and Nico Felici when Isaiah Loud hit a "three" at the buzzer putting "The Scrubs" up 31-30! "The Scrubs" go on to play #2 Seed "1400 Gang" led by AJ Forbes and Shane Smith today.

  • The Finals for the "Jaylin Cox" 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, brought to you by EdRising and Freshmen Senate, are set! In Yesterday's Semi-Final games, "Team Yerm" led by Tevin Tanner defeated Louis Fidler and John Shanklin's "Justice League." "Team Yerm" will meet Jacob Coldanghise and "The Scrubs" who some how managed to continue their winning ways by defeating the "1400 Gang" led by Shane Smith in the other Semi-Final game. Bracelets will continue to be sold during lunch for $1. They WILL NOT be sold at the door. Get your bracelet for today's Finals before they sell out.
