Congratulations: Our congratulations to Mike Chambers, W1IDX. Mike was named the Club’s Ham of the Year for 2005. An honor that is well deserved.

Festival of Lights: The Festival of Lights was held at Glen Miller Park on Saturday, December 3rd. Mike Chambers, W1IDX, has got us signed up to use Mac’s Shack and Shelter House #2 for our Field Day activities on June 24th & 25th, 2006. We would like to thank those who worked the Festival of Lights. Those brave souls were Sam Addelman, N9LBA; Fred Adelsperger, W9PBY; Ed Anderson, N9NEI; Mike Chambers, W1IDX; Jim Eberhart, KC9IKK; Leon Jobe, KD8BO; Jason Kirtley, KC9HGD; Wayne Klusman, WA8KAZ; Herb McAdams, N9XC; Tracey Nash, KC9HTV; Jeff Norris, KB9ZJV; Steve Shank, KB9HQX; Ron Stier, W9ICZ and Buster Webb, KG9ND. We would like to give a special thanks to Jim Eberhart, KC9IKK & Tracey Nash, KC9HTV, new members of the club, for joining in the spirit of the event and volunteering to help. This is the way that the club “pays” for the use of our Field Day site at the park.

Dues: Club dues are due this month. As Sam, N9LBA, used to say, “Come and make Don Cook happy.” Don likes adding money to the treasury.

Relocated: Fellow Club Member John Strain, W9MIU, has relocated to Pleasant Hill, Tennessee. John is remaining in the club and may be back for a visit from time to time.
