Title I
Comments/Suggestions / JoAnn Applewhite called the meeting to order at 4:03pm.
JoAnn Applewhite made a motion for approval of the SAC minutes from the September 23rdmeeting. Mary Shanerseconded the motion and all approved.

Jessica Anderson stated the deadline for spending Title I monies is February 26th. We have approximately $3000 remaining that will be spent on materials teachers have requested for their classrooms.
Students have eight weeks left of before and after school tutoring.
Family Reading Night is scheduled for Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Lady Lake Library.
This is the first year that our students will participate in the STEM Bowl. Competition dates are scheduled for the first week in February.
Our current free/reduced lunch percentage is 77%

High Stakes Testing
Comments/ Suggestions / Rheda Gail Shumate shared the following High Stakes Testing dates:
March 1st- 4th/5th grade Writing (PBT)
March 29th- 30th – 3rd grade-ELA FSA (PBT)
March 31st-April1st- 3rd/4th-Math FSA (PBT)
April 12th-April 13th-4th grade-ELA (CBT)
April 19th-April 22nd-5th grade-ELA and Math FSA (CBT)
April 27th-April 28th-5th grade- Science FCAT
May 6th- Testing Window Closes
*Students must take Writing and Reading FSA tests to receive an ELA score.
*The 3rd grade ELA will be used a part of the promotion criteria.

SAC Business
Comments/Questions / Mr. Bordenkircher stated several rules that must be followed when conducting SAC business:
*SAC business cannot be discussed outside of the meeting.
*Only an open forum voting can take place. No secret ballots or email
votes will be used.
*Three days’ notice must be given prior to voting.
*SAC meetings must be advertised 1 week prior to the meeting.

School Grade
Comments/ Questions / Mr. Bordenkircher presented a PowerPoint to share FSA 2015 results. Our school is an A this year.

School Recognition Dollars
Comments/Questions / Mr. Bordenkircher discussed the proposed School Recognition Bonus Plan.
The second bullet emphasized that those employees working less than full-time will receive a pro-rated share. In addition to those who worked a part-time shift, this will include any employee who was hired after the beginning of the school year or who retired or transferred before the end of the school year.
The SAC voted orally and then on paper for the proposed School Recognition Bonus Plan and Mary Shaner collected the votes. All members of the SAC were in favor of the Recognition Bonus Plan.
Mr. Brown asked which positions are considered classified employees.
Meeting Adjourned / Carla Hollowell made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 4:25PM. Jessica Anderson seconded this motion.
