Singapore PM's salary stuns White House official
A senior White House official back on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 admitted he was floored by the news that Singapore's prime minister earned five times more than then US President George W. Bush. "I'm going to emigrate and run for office in Singapore," the official said on condition he be identified only as "a senior administration official who sits in disbelief after reading that story."
Who gets what (without performance bonuses)
Flash! SINGAPORE, March 11, 2011 - Parliament has approved an increase in the President's salary which is now S$4,267,500 (US$3,355,270), an increase of S$890,700 (US$700,302).
Singapore's current President, Nathan, was a member of the dreaded Japanese Kampeti (uniform, sword and all) the secret police during the Japanese occupation of Singapore.
  • Singapore Prime Minister's Salary $US2.47 million, or about six times more than the U.S. President, who currently takes home US$400,000.
  • The monthly pay for a Singapore Member of Parliament (who does virtually nothing) is S$12,000 (US$8,600 ) per month or S$144,000 (US$103,200 ) per year tax free.
Note: At age 55, Singapore Ministers collect both a salary and their full pension.
United States:
President Barak Obama: US$400,000, with US$50,000 expenses
Vice President Joe Biden: US$202,900
Cabinet Secretaries: US$157,000 - $186,600
Secretary of State (Hillary Clinton) - $186,600
United Kingdom: Prime Minister: $US279,000
Australia: Prime Minister: $US229,000
Hong Kong: Prime Minister: $US516,000
Japan: Prime Minister: $US243,000
Canada: Prime Minister: $US246,000
Germany: Prime Minister: $US303,000
France: Prime Minister: $US318,000
In addition to their inflated salaries,
the Singapore elite gets extra pay as appointed company directors!

More Money for People Closely Connected to the government!!!
1) Relatives of senior government leaders:
Family Members / Relationship To Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong / Present Singapore Government Linked Company (GLC) Post
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong
aka "Pinky"
(and we all know why)

Pinky is also Deputy Chairman of Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC). The GIC holds most of Singapore's foreign reserves. The amount of money is a secret - only Lee Hsien Loong and his daddy know..
Former Singapore President Ong Teng Cheong was removed because he attempted to determine the location and amount of Singapore's reserves.
Shortly therafter, Ong Teng Cheong (and his wife) died. They are still waiting for a state funeral.
Mdm Ho Ching
Wife of the Prime Minister
(the world's most expensive wife)

One tough cookie!
CEO of Temasek Holdings (among other things)
Ho Ching (nicknamed Ho Jinx by Singaporeans) committed S$401 million in ASX -listed ABC Learning Centres at near the peak price of A$7.30 and then averaged down at between A$1.20 and A$4.00, bringing it's commitment to over S$500 million. That investment is now essentially worthless although Temasek has yet to write it poff.
Temasek also bought 19% of LSE-listed Standard Chartered in 2006 only to see the market value of that stake melt 55% by November 21st.
More fiascos include a 975 million pound stake in Barclays Bank bought at the peak of 740 pence(with a further 100 million to subscribe for a rights issue at 282 pence), which have now sunk over 70% at 138 pence.
Worst of all is its US$6.88 billion stake in Citigroup bought with a minimum conversion price of $31.34. Citigroup has since plunged 88% to $3.71, singlehandedly delivering S$9.11 billion of red ink to Temasek's books.
Overall, the paper loss on these investments has exceeded S$35 billion as of October 21st, 2008
5 Feb 09 - Temasek Holdings Pte said Chief Executive Officer Ho Ching will step down after almost seven years at the helm of Singapore’s $130 billion state-owned investment company.
Charles Goodyear IV was then hired to replace Ho Ching as head of Temasek. Was he an imposter??? Shortly thereafter Goodyear left Temasek and disappeared.
Now Ho Ching is bringing in Baroness Vadera (as in Darth Vader) as a possible successor to Charles "Chip" Waterhouse Goodyear IV.

It seems no Singaporean is good enough for Temasek
Baroness Vadera is Temasek's big secret - they don't want another Goodyear scandal
Lady Vadera aka Shriti Vadera was born in Uganda around 1962 of Indian parentage. Her family owned a small tea plantation but fled to India in 1971 or 1972, the year before Idi Amin’s expulsions of Indians. She became the "favorite" of former British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.
in June 2007, Brown saw to it that Ms. Vadera was created a life peer on July 11, 2007 as Baroness Vadera of Holland Park in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
Baroness Vadera is seldom, if ever, mentioned by Temasek which learned its lesson from the Charles W. "Chip" Goodyear affair. Goodyear seems to have disappeared. In hiding? Plastic surgery for a new identity?
Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew
Minister Mentor

Father of Prime Minister, and former Prime Minister, himself. He holds a Cabinet position as Minister Mentor, and remains the virtual ruler of Singapore.

Happier days with the family

Sad, sad white-haired Lee Hsien Yang today
How he has aged! - is something wrong?
Does he have a career? Is he divorced?
Does he have a wife? Does he have two wives?
Drinking, a possible divorce, a child born out of wedlock have taken their toll
Former Chief Executive of SingTel Group and SESAMi Inc (SingTel unit), and Director of Singapore Technologies Industrial Corporation and National Computer Systems (SingTel unit).
SingTel paid Lee Hsien Yang, the Prime Minister's brother, S$4.56 million (US$2.86 million) in cash and stock in the last fiscal year, the company's latest annual report showed.
Frasier and Nieve now pays Mr Lee $1.25 million a year - relatively high by Singapore standards - to act as a consultant and chairman.
Here he is in his mansion (in blue shirt) having dinner with Mommy and Daddy. Former? wife, Lim Suet Fern (now divorced?), Director of SembCorp Logistics is seated next to him on the left.
Our operatives report that Lee Hsien Yang's new lady looks like Halle Berry and oozes sexuality from every part of her body. The word SEX is written all over her face. She was transferred to Australia after the management led by LHY found out that all the male staff were ogling her with their tongues and eye-balls sticking out. As a result, office productivity took a significant dip. Was also told, in order to ensure her personal safety, LHY personally accompanied her to Australia in the same plane sometime in 2003. Rumors are that they have a love child.

Sister-In-Law (Brother's Wife, wife (or not) of Lee Hsien Yang)
tel. 6389-3000

Is she divorced? Single? Married?
Lee Suet Fern, Mrs. Lee Hsien Yang (or not), will be joining the board of French insurance giant AXA. Mrs. Lee is just one of a handful from Singapore to make it to the boardroom of a global company - and we know why!
Mrs Lee is also the senior director of Stamford Law Corporation (Singapore). She chairs the Asian Civilisations Museum board and is also a member of the advisory board to Singapore Management University's school of law.
Mrs. Lee is also a Director of SembCorp Logistics. Director of China Aviation Oil (Singapore) Corporation Ltd, plus a joint venture with US firm Shearman & Sterling, got her start at Lee & Lee (naturally).
She is also trying to get a free ride for IBPA, which she heads. She alleges that Marina Bay Sands did not properly host the IBPAat their recent conference, and has withheld payment. Marina Bay Sands sued the lawyers of IBPA for non-payment.
Recently, on June 29th, Marina Bay Sands executive George Tanajisevich met IPBA President Lee (or Lim?) Suet Fern once after the conference and didn’t make any settlement offer, the IPBA organizing committee said.
Seems like Madam Lee (Miss Lim?) is not afraid to rip off these Las Vegas guys.

Drug Lord
U Tun Myint Naing, aka Steven Law
and Cecilia Ng, aka Ng Sor Hong
According to the United States Department of the Treasury (their diagram, below), Steven Law, is the son of Lo Hsing Han, chairman of Burma's biggest conglomerate, Asia World, founded in 1992.
Steven Law, the Managing Director of Asia World, runs many companies in Singapore with the help of his Singaporean wife, Cecilia Ng aka Ng Sor Hong.
Cecilia Ng is said to have close connections within the Singapore government, which permit these Burmese drug lords to operate and launder their money in Singapore.
Although Singapore is proud of its mandatory death penalty for smalltime narcotics smugglers and heroin addicts, both father (Lo Hsing Han) and son (Steven Law) travel freely in and out of Singapore.
"The family money is offshore," said a high-level US narcotics official. "The old man is a convicted drug trafficker, so his kid is handling the financial activities." That is, with the help of Cecilia Ng and her Singapore government connection.

Cecilia Ng Sor Hong was born in 1958, studied at Dunman Secondary School and Hwa Chong Junior College. She is the third daughter of Mr Ng Ah Khoon and Madam Hong Or Tew Chua, residents in Jansen Road, Singapore.
Ms Ng originally married her college sweetheart, now a second-hand car dealer, and had three children by him. She divorced him and married Mr Law in 1995.
Ms Ng has condominium apartment off Alexandra Road in Singapore - she is rarely there.
