The Treasure Map

Once upon a time there were two little children. The boy was called Harry and the girl was called Wendy. They lived in a little house next to the sea. Every day they played games. Harry’s favourite games was Pirates. “I want to be a pirate when I grow up.” said Harry. He had a sword and a pirate hat.

One day Wendy and Harry were playing football. Suddenly Wendy saw a piece of paper on the floor. “What´s that?” asked Harry. Wendy picked it up. “What is it?” asked Harry. “It’s a treasure map!” said Wendy. She was very excited. “Where is the treasure?” asked Harry.“It says the treasure is on an island” said Wendy “in a dark cave”. Harry was very excited. “Let’s look for the treasure” he said.

“How can we get to the island?” asked Wendy. “We need a boat” said Harry. So they looked for a boat. They went to the beach but they couldn’t see a boat. They went to the river but they couldn’t see a boat. “I have got an idea” said Harry. “What is it?” asked Wendy. “We can look in the port” said Harry. “That’s a good idea” said Wendy. So they went to the port.

In the port they found a small ship. They got on a ship and sailed away. But some naughty pirates saw them. “Look” said Captain Blood “Those children have got a treasure map. Let’s follow them.” So the naughty pirates followed them.

Wendy and Harry sailed across the sea and finally they came to the island. They got off the ship and looked for the treasure. “Where is the treasure?” asked Harry. “Look at the map” said Wendy. So they looked at the map.

“First we have to go over the fence” said Wendy. So Wendy and Harry went over the fence, across the field, over the fence, through the forest, around the lake, into the castle, out of the castle, along the road, past the cave, over the bridge, under the trees, up the hill, down the hill. Finally they came to the dark cave.

Meanwhile the naughty pirates arrived at the island. “Where are the children?” asked Captain Blood. “I don’t know” said the pirates. “Look, Captain, footprints!” said a little pirate. “Let’s follow the foot prints!” said the pirates. So they followed the foot prints.

Wendy and Harry dug up the treasure. Suddenly they saw the piratescoming. “Look, the pirates are coming!” said Wendy. “Oh no, what can we do?” asked Harry. “I have got an idea” said Wendy. “What is it?” said Harry. “Let’s make a trap” said Wendy. So they dug a hole and covered it in grass. Then they hid.

Along came the pirates and they saw the treasure. “Look! The treasure!” said captain Blood. “Take the treasure!” he said. The pirates ran to the treasure and they fell in the hole.

Harry and Wendy picked up the treasure. “Come on, let’s go!” said Harry. The children ran to the ship. They got on the ship and sailed home. And they all lived happily ever after. The end.
