VI. Supplemental Materials for the Arts: Only the following types of materials may be submitted:

• Dance, Drama/Theater Arts, Other Performance Arts, and TV/Film: Limit of two examples. Five minute maximum per example. The review panel will consider only the first five minutes of longer recordings.

• Creative Writing: Limit of two examples totaling no more than 25 pages. Pages must be double spaced with font no smaller than 11 pt Times New Roman and margins of at least 1 inch on all sides.

• Fine Arts, Design, Art, Industrial Design, and Other Studio Arts: Limit of ten (10) pieces.

• Music– Performance: Limit of two examples. Five minute maximum per example. The review panel will consider only the first five minutes of longer recordings. Vocalists are encouraged to submit video of live performances.

• Music – Conducting: Conductors should submit video of up to two conducting performances. Five minute maximum per example.

• Music – Composing: Composers may submit up to two pieces. Submit a recording and musical score for each piece. When possible, the recording and scores should be of the same pieces. For composers only, the maximum length per piece is 15 minutes.

VII. Transcripts - It is necessary for the Committee on Fellowships to have a copy of your Vassar transcript including first semester grades for your senior year if you are currently enrolled. Graduating seniors must provide an unofficial transcript and current schedule with their application. We will obtain unofficial Vassar transcript for alumni only.
