Supervisory Consultancy Services for the IbriandSohar Independent Power Projects
Oman Power and Water Procurement Company SAOC (“OPWP”) a member of Nama group is responsible for the procurement of new electricity generating capacity and water desalination capacity in the Sultanate of Oman in accordance with the requirements of the law for the regulation and privatisation of the electricity and related water sector promulgated by Royal Decree 78/2004 and the OPWP licence.
OPWP invites specialized companies to submit their offers for Tender No. 1/2016 for Supervisory Consultancy Services for the Ibri and Sohar Independent Power Projects.
OPWP wishes to appoint suitably qualified and experienced Consultants to provide project management and technical consultancy services (the “Services”) during the construction, commissioning and testing of the Ibri and Sohar Independent Power Projects.
The projects are being implemented by the developers on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis under the terms of power purchase agreements with OPWP.

The tender documents will be available for purchase from the offices of OPWP effective from 2ndFebruary2016to 14thFebruary 2016. The offices are located on the 5thFloor, Building 5, Muscat Grand Mall, Tilal Complex (Office), Al Khuwair Al Janubiyyah, Muscat. Tender documents areavailable for collection between the hours of 08.30 to 14.00 from Sunday to Thursday. The tender details are as provided below;
