“The Tempest” Video Project Artist’s Statement

Please write a three-paragraph reflection on your Tempest video project on a separate sheet of paper. Use the following questions as a guide, but make sure the statement flows together as one, continuous piece of writing. Please write in full sentences. You will earn a 5 on this if you go beyond simply answering each question and write your thoughts in depth.

1st Paragraph – Video Evaluation

·  What was a weak point of your video and how could it have been improved?

2nd Paragraph – Ensemble Evaluation

·  Who were your group members?

·  Who took leadership in your group? How did they lead? Was their leadership effective?

·  Did your group members stay with the jobs you chose at the beginning? Why or why not?

·  Other than yourself, who do you think contributed the most to the work? Why?

·  Other than yourself, who do you think contributed the least to the work? Why?

3rd Paragraph - Learning

·  What did you learn (about history, Shakespeare, theater, literature, etc.) by reading, watching and creating videos based on “The Tempest?”

·  What did you learn about producing videos by completing this project?

·  What did you learn about yourself or about effective collaboration through the process of creating this video?
