ROSETTES:To 10th place in all Classes. Plus best dressage in each class, best SHPC Member in each class & Double clear Rosettes.

CROSS COUNTRY COURSE: The course will be open for inspection on Saturday 5 th May from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1.The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entries. Entry fees are NOT refundable under any circumstances after the close of entry unless cancelled by the organisers or on presentation of a current Vet’s certificate or Doctor’s note.

2.The Pony Club Eventing 2018 Rules will apply throughout. For dress and tack rules see and look under the individual disciplines.

3.Any outside assistance or interference by anyone other than an OFFICIAL will incur elimination.

4.The Judges' decision is final; objections must be made in writing to the Secretary within 30 minutes of the ocurrence or the publishing of results accompanied by a £20 deposit. No video evidence will be considered under any circumstances.

5.Legal Liability. Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accept any liability for any accident, loss damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.

8.No horses/ponies under 5 years of age allowed to compete.

9.Health and Safety. The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.

10.NEW HAT REGULATIONS– Hats MUST be tagged with this year’s aquamarine tag either PC, BE or BRC.

It is mandatory to wear a protective helmet manufactured to one of the minimum standards listed here.. PAS 015:1998 or 2011, Snell E2001, with the official Snell label and number, AS/NZS 3838 2006 onwards, VG1 with BSI symbol, ASTM-F1163 2004a with SEI mark. The CE symbol on its own is not sufficient. Hats must be worn when mounted, with chin strap fastened at all times. No fixed peaks for XC(see PC Rules 2018).

11.Riders must wear an effective Body Protector meeting BETA 2009 Level 3 standard (purple label) AND sleeves covering shoulders for Cross Country. It is strongly advised that the body protector chosen should neither impede flexibility nor balance.

12.Hair must be restrained and in a hair net if long. NO HAIR below the collar. No watches, electronic devices or jewellery allowed

13.Numnah can be any solid colour. Contrasting piping permitted. Jodhpurs must be cream/beige. No jewellry. Fly hood, nets & ear covers allowed. Ear plugs not permitte

14.Stopwatches allowed for PC90 and above.

15. Horse/Pony may only be entered in one class.

16.Dogs must be kept on short leads (not extended) at all times.

17.No barbeques allowed.

SPECIAL NOTE. As the National Trust charges the General Public admission to IckworthPark, Competitors must tell the person at the Kiosk they are competing in this event. Competitors and any supporting cars must show the enclosed tickets at the Kiosk on both the Saturday and the Sunday or they will be charged entry into the park and no refunds will be made by The Suffolk Hunt Branch of the Pony Club. The Show passes are only valid for this Event and are not eligible to obtain entry to any other venue held on the same day or National Trust Properties at IckworthPark.
