RULES FOR TEAM COMPETITIONS

All team competitions will be held over a distance of 120km.

1.INTERNATIONAL TEAMS

1.1All international teams shall consist of six (6) riders. These riders must all be of the same nationality. Only one team per country may be entered in each category (see below). All team members must enter for the FEI CEI 2* 120km ride.

1.2The winning team shall be the team with the best time after adding the final classification (riding time) of the four highest placed competitors in the team. If less than four members of a team finish the ride, the team will not be eligible for placing.

1.3Junior/Young Rider Teams

1.3.1Riders can be included in Junior/Young Rider Teams from 01 January of the year in which the rider turns fourteen (14) until 31 December of the year in which the rider turns twenty-one (21).

1.3.2There is no rider weight restriction.

1.4Senior Teams.

1.4.1Riders can be included in Senior Teams from 01 January of the year in which the rider turns eighteen (18).

1.4.2Riders must weigh in between a minimum riding weight of 70kg (FEI) and a maximumweight of less than 95 kg.

1.5Senior Heavy Weight Teams

1.5.1Riders can be included in Senior Heavy Weight Teams from 01 January of the year in which the rider turns eighteen (18).

1.5.2Riders must weigh in at a minimum riding weight of 95kg. There is no upper limit.

1.6Mixed Senior Teams

1.6.1If a country can not enter separate teams in the Senior Team and the Senior Heavy Weight Team categories, a mixed team can be entered.

1.6.2Riders can be included in Mixed Senior Teams from 01 January of the year in which the rider turns eighteen (18).

1.6.3Riders must weigh in at a minimum riding weight of 70kg (FEI) There is no upper limit.

1.6.4Mixed Senior Teams will compete against teams in the "Senior Team Category" (see 1.4 above).

2.UNION TEAMS

2.1Junior/Young Rider Teams

2.1.1Riders can be included in Junior/Young Rider Teams from 01 January of the year in which the rider turns fourteen (14) until 31 December of the year in which the rider turns twenty-one (21).

2.1.2There is no rider weight restriction.

2.1.3All Union Junior/Young Rider teams shall consist of five (5) riders. These riders mustall be members of a club that is affiliated with the Union concerned. Only one such team may be entered per Union. Team members may enter for either the FEI CEI 2* 120km or the ERASA 120km ride.

2.1.4The winning team shall be the team with the best time after adding the final classification (riding time) of the three highest placed competitors in the team. If less than three members of a team finish the ride, the team will not be eligible for placing.

2.2Senior Teams

2.2.1Riders can be included in Senior Teams from 01 January of the year in which the rider turns eighteen (18).

2.2.2Riders must weigh in at a minimum riding weight of 70kg (if entered under FEI rules) or 73kg (if entered under ERASA rules), and a maximum weight of less than 95kg.

2.2.3All Union Senior teams shall consist of six (6) riders. These riders must all be members of a club that is affiliated with the Union concerned. Only one such team may be entered per Union. Team members may enter for either the FEI CEI 2* 120km or the ERASA 120km ride.

2.3.3All Union Senior Heavy Weight teams shall consist of five (5) riders. These riders must all be members of a club that is affiliated with the Union concerned. Only one such team may be entered per Union. Team members may enter for either the FEI CEI 2* 120km or the ERASA 120km ride.

2.3.4The winning team shall be the team with the best time after adding the final classification (riding time) of the three highest placed competitors in the team. If less than three members of a team finish the ride, the team will not be eligible for placing

2.4Mixed Senior Teams

2.4.1.If a Union can not enter separate teams in the Senior Team and the Senior Heavy Weight Team categories, a mixed team can be entered.

2.4.2Riders can be included in Mixed Senior Teams from 01 January of the year in which the rider turns eighteen (18).

2.4.3Riders must weigh in at a minimum riding weight of 70kg (if entered under FEI rules) or 73kg (if entered under ERASA rules). There is no upper limit.

2.4.4All Mixed Senior teams shall consist of six (6) riders. These riders must all be members of a club that is affiliated with the Union concerned. Only one such team may be entered per Union. Team members may enter for either the FEI CEI 2* 120km or the ERASA 120km ride.

2.4.5Mixed Senior Teams shall compete against teams in the "Senior Team Category" (see 2.2 above).
