We are still in need of a recruiter and a person to do publicity for our branch. I know if we have members step up and tackle these positions we can increase our membership. So think about it and step up. If you would like to do this I would be glad to help out as our board of directors would also help.

By the time you get this newsletter, the 5th Annual SIR Branch 160 Bowling Tournament at nearby Tahoe Bowl, scheduled for Friday and Saturday the 16th and 17th of September, will be completed. As I write this report, 90 bowlers, including both SIRs and their friends/significant others, have submitted their applications for the tournament. The enrollment for each day is almost identical! My thanks in advance to all the Branch 160 bowlers and their partners for helping to make this special event a success! I will present the results of the tournament at our next meeting on the 26th.
