The Service: the Gateshead School Sport Partnership

THE SERVICE:

Tyne and Wear Physical Education
(“TWPE”)

Service Level Agreement with Tyne and Wear Physical Education (in partnership with Gateshead School Sport Partnership/Gateshead Council).

Duration of the Service Provision

The service will be provided from 1st September 2016 until 31st August 2017. This service will be offered on a fixed 12 month basis, with no option for early termination following commencement. Service specification will be reviewed at the end of the stated 12 month period and if the School/Academy wish to buy back the Service after 31st August 2017, the provision will be subject to a new specification and Terms and Conditions.

Specification of the Service Provision

1. TWPE will provide an annual calendar of CPD opportunities, as detailed below:

• Netball Master class

• Rugby Master class

• Subject Leaders Networking

• Introduction to Volleyball

• Introduction to Clubbercise

• Parkour Teachers Course

• Theory PE Networking

• Dance Sharing good practice

• ICT in PE

• Trampoline Refresher

• Theory PE Networking

• Subject Leaders Networking

• Subject Leaders Networking

• Introduction to Handball

• Introduction to Cycling

• Mock Moderation

* Each district will also host an 'Emergency First Aid for Sport' course.

Price and Payment Provision for the Service

1. The cost of the SLA is £50.00.

1. Schools/Academies that affiliate to the TWPE SLA will pay via invoice arranged by the Gateshead School Sports Partnership Admin Team. Payment will be made upon commencement of the service (September 2016) for the total cost.

1. Schools/Academies that opt not to affiliate will be classed as ‘non-members’ (pay as you go) and will be charged via invoice after each CPD session they have accessed.
2. Cancellation Policy:
   All courses: 1 week.

Failure to notify re non-attendance within these parameters will result in a £30 cancellation charge or the full cost of the course being charged (whichever is the greater).

Based on the above, we would like to buy into the Tyne and Wear Physical Education Service Level Agreement at a cost of £50.00 (the completed form should be returned to Andrew Carr by 23rd September 2016 using the details above).

We would ALSO like to purchase Youth Sport Trust Level 1 or 2 membership (details enclosed via email) for: Level 1 - £50 Level 2 - £200 (please tick)
