The Sara Lee Trust

The Sara Lee Trust provides essential support and care to local people who are living with cancerand other life threatening conditions as well as to their families and carers. The Trust is also the dedicated provider of these services for the patients of St Michael’s Hospice and the Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital. Apart from a small, but important, grant from Hastings & Rother NHS (Clinical Commissioning Group), the Trust is totally reliant on donations and fundraising activity to fund its operations.

Volunteer support is critical to the Trust. Without the support of the many volunteers who assist in so many ways, the Trust would simply not be able to deliver the care it does, and to the extent that it does.
