1.Strategic Plan. The Rotary Club of Lebanon shall develop and update a strategic plan from time. The club believes that the strategic and annual plans along with other documents must be simple and understandable and achievable. The Summary of the Strategic plan is:

1.1Support the ideals of Rotary

1.1.1First. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;

1.1.2Second. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying by each Rotarian of his or her occupation as an opportunity to serve society

1.1.3Third. The application of the ideal of service by every Rotarian to his or her personal, business and community life;

1.2Development and Maintain a Strong and Vibrant Membership

1.2.1The Club will have 75 members by 2015

2.Annual Plan.The President shall develop and annual plan for presentation to the board of Directors. It shall provide the basis for the assignment of Rotarians to individual positions and committees.

2.1The Rotary Club of Lebanon has adopted the leadership plan recommended by Rotary International and the annual plan is set forth in a manner reflecting that plan.

3.The Rotary Club of Lebanon

3.1.2An unincorporated entity organized under New Hampshire Statutes for “clubs” and Federal statures under section 501c4 related to clubs.

3.1.2.1Club activities are reported on form 8897 as an unincorporated entity associated with rotary International

3.2The Rotary Club of Lebanon New Hampshire Charities-Incorporated under New Hampshire Statutes and qualified under IRA regulations as a 501c3 charitable entity-Donations to “Charities” are deductible to individuals and corporations.

3.2.1The Officers of the Rotary Club of Lebanon are elected as Directors of “Charities”

3.3Member Involvement and leadership development plan-The club recognizes the need for development of leaders for the club as a process needing continual renewal and emphasis-The Board of Directors will at least annually update the leadership progression and development plan including the assignment of club members to committees and as committee or function leaders and club officers. The Board is particularly mindful of the need to involve younger and women members in leadership opportunities. (Refer to the Membership Recruitment Plan)
