Do you conduct Weekday Trainings?

On Weekends, We conduct trainings for Individuals in batches, During weekdays We offer our services for Corporate Training.

Where is your office and where you conduct Trainings?

Our Office is in J.P Nagar 7th Phase, We conduct weekend trainings at different locations in Bangalore. The place of conducting the training really depends on the training program released.

If you have choosed which course to join and are interested, Kindly send a mail to , The Mail should contain your name, Mobile Number, Email id, Course interested for. We will update our database and would get back to you whenever a new batch is starting and let you know the procedures for enrolment. You can also check our website for any upcoming training programs.

I got to know about one the excel training happening on XXX date, How can I enroll?

Here are multiple options for enrolments.

1. Our office is in J.P nagar, you can call us up and fix an appointment and come and enroll.

2. Any of the weekends, We open the Enrollment time at our training locations, During Such Situations, We would communicate to you the address of the training venue and time where we will take up the enrolment.

3. thru Bank Transfer. [Option executed in discussion with smart sheets]

We provide a receipt for enrollments.

Can I come on Weekdays to your Training venue and Enroll?

Our Main Office is in J.P Nagar, We are Available during weekdays for enrollments at this place. We hire Training Facilities, As such We are available for only trainings during weekends, however For enrollments at training place, we are available only on specific dates and timings, Please check the brochures/mail for details or you can call us to know details about enrollment at Training Venue.

I am out of station on the day of enrolment, How can I enroll?

You can send any of your family members or friends to enroll on behalf of you, please ensure you clear the necessary eligibility test before this.

What is the mode of payment?

We accept only thru cash. For Certain Batches, We do accept cheques and thru Fund Transfer, Information on this will be provided in the mail or training brochure.

Based on my current role is my work profile, I require only few things to Learn? Can you teach me only this or can I attend only for this sessions in the training?

Our Trainings conducted are standard suitable to people working in different avenues. We believe in providing complete knowledge to help participants think out of the box and come up with a lot of ideas to implement, As such we do not have customizations

We also do not encourage participants attending only few classes. Every day the learning’s in the class in unique and is a flow, thelearning’s that I got from 1st day is required for 2nd day of training. As such we enroll participants only if they can attend all the sessions of the training program.

Can I pay the amount in installments?

Our Institute stands with a principle, we do not negotiate on quality of the trainings and do not negotiate on the price or principles we follow. Participant wishing to join for the course should pay 100% fees in advance.

Do you provide any placements?

Our focus is primarily on providing quality training, we do not have any placement service, however we can guarantee thru our quality training that, if you attend to our training course and practice. In the Interview On this subject you would be the best among the rest.

At our office we are using Excel 2003;here Trainings are on Excel 2007. Is it fine to learn 2007?

2007 is an enhanced version of 2003; As such 2007 has all the Features and formulas of 2003 + few new features and formulas. Learning 2007 will also help you work in 2003. In the future if your company goes for Office 2007. You need not go for further trainings on Excel 2007.

Do you give Certificate for completion?

Yes, For Excel Basic and Advanced Course, We provide coaching completion certificate provided A Participant attends all the classes and is regular and punctual to the classes.

I am on leave for few days or coming late during training is it o.k.? Can you train me other days?

Once Enrolled for a class, the expectation from the participants is to ensure he or she attends all classes without and is punctual to the classes. If do not enroll participants if they cannot be part of all the classes. At times like this, we suggest them to take part of courses conducted in the future which will help plan their time.

Saturday is a working day for us, Can I have the training only on Sunday?

All Our trainings are conducted on both Saturdays and Sundays. Presently we do not have a training program conducted only on Sundays. Since this is a quality training and is useful for the candidates in their work. We suggest candidates to take leave on Saturdays. Depending the training program either 2 or 3 Saturdays are required for trainings. We release our Training Plan in advance to help candidates plan their time and enroll.

Do you teach any other application other than MS Excel?

Our Trainings come after a lot of research on the Topic, As such we are limiting ourselves to training on MS Excel, in the coming days we Plan to conduct trainings on other applications as well.

We have Excel 2010 officially released in July 2010, Why is the Trainings on Excel 2007?

Presently Less than 5% of the population is using Excel 2010. Most of the users are using Excel 2007, keeping the Interest of the population of large; we conduct training on Excel 2007.

Do you provide any training materials?

Yes during the Training, at different Phases we share the Materials like Exercises, Learning’s Materials etc... Remember the learning’s you undergo in the training is unique which cannot be substituted by the Material.

Can I carry my laptop for the Training Sessions?

At the time of Enrollment, Kindly inform us before. Please note that Laptop usage during training session should be restricted to only for working on Training Exercises and should not be used for office or any other purpose, The intention is to have your complete focus on the training.

What would happen if I come late to Class?

One of the key requirement for enrolment is participant should be available for all the days of classes and for the timings mentioned, Participants are requested to come 15 Minutes early before the start, Late Comers Will not be allowed.

Can I use Mobile Phone during Class?

Usage of Mobile Phone disturbs you as well as the entire training environment. Usage of mobile phone during the training is strictly prohibited. However you can use during breaks.

Can I get full training Material of whatever you are teaching?

Kindly note the intention of the training is for more on face to face training with the intention of implementation. Training material will be given however it cannot be taken as a full substitute for the training undergone.

I want to do Advanced and VBA Training together, Is it Possible?

Yes, it’s possible, provided you meet the eligibility criteria’s of both the training programs. However we suggest to take Advanced first and then do VBA Training, to ensure you get the knowledge systematically and also to ensure you are not overburdened with too much training in a day.

Can you tell me the Eligibility Criteria’s for Excel Training Programs?

Excel Basics

The Participants should know how to use computers. Its fine, if they have never used MS excel application or just used to enter the data.

Excel Advanced

The Participants should be knowing Basics of Excel, He or she should know few basic features in excel like how to sort the data, how to use auto filter Etc...

Excel Macros and VBA Programming

He or she has done the Excel Advanced course and should have implemented the knowledge or should be an Excel Expert. Given any kind of situation in excel they should have the logics and knowledge to solve and arrive at a solution. Once the Logic is ready It’s just a matter of learning the language to automate. Also one should have a passion to programming and automation. A test would be conducted either written or orally to test excel advanced skills. Those participants who clear the test are eligible for the Excel VBA programming Training program.

Excel Advanced Questions

Can you tell me what kind of formulas we can write after going thru Excel advanced training program?

Writing formulas really depends on the kind of requirement you have. You will learn how to build complex formulas, how to build formulas, How to handle errors in formulas etc.

Eg if I have marks of 6 subjects of a student in 6 different cells, If the criteria to pass for a student is, he/she should have scored at least 40 marks in each of the subject. After the end of the Training program you should be able to put a Formula in Excel to find his result. This involves complex if functions.

Eg if you have few Criteria’s for providing commission to sales employee. Considering the requirements you can write a formula to calculate commission.

I have done Excel advanced program thru other institutions or thru corporate trainings, Not sure If I have to do again a Advanced Training program from SMART SHEETS?

Opportunities for a VBA programmer?

To tell in one word, “Unlimited”. There are not enough Excel VBA programmers available in the market. As such there are tremendous opportunities to automate things. With KPO Industry growing up there is a huge requirement of VBA Programmers in the market.

I want to learn programming of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and other MS office applications?

Today in the Market, Trainings are provided only for VBA in Excel. VBA for other applications are not trained. If a participant has done Excel VBA training course, one would get the VBA Language in general, He/she needs to purchase a book on programming on other MS office applications or Google out information on methods and properties of the application and create automations.

I have to do a project in my office, For this Purpose, I would like to come for the course, can you help me specifically for this or can you take this as a exercise in the course?

Our Exercises and Projects are designed to ensure there is learning on many aspects of the VBA concepts. As such would we not be able to take this as a scenario and work in the trainings. However After the Training session we encourage participants to take-up improvement projects in office and assist you in case of any doubts that you may face.

I have not done any Excel advanced training program. I have learnt things on my own...can I take the VBA course?

Yes, you need to take the Eligibility test; if you clear you can take the course.
