January 21, 2015

Hockey Regina Inc. and the Regina Pat Canadians Midget AAA Hockey Team are pleased to extend an invitation to you to participate in our Annual Spring Camp to be held Thursday, April 9 to Sunday, April 12.to be held at the Co-operators Centre.

The purpose of the camp is to identify players who are eager to improve and refine their hockey skills, and to compete at a high level in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League, a league that is recognized as one of the best in the country. This year’s Pat Canadians club is currently on the top three teams in the league standings and competing very well. They were finalists at the prestigious MAC’s tournament.

With this in mind, we ask that you come to camp with the express purpose of showcasing your hockey skills. Fighting will not be tolerated. Players who engage in fighting will be sent from the ice. We want to see how well you can play this game. Recognizing that you will have completed your playoffs prior to coming to camp, we also ask that you come to these try outs in the best shape possible.

To pre-register fill out the registration form included and return as soon as possible or by Wednesday, March 11, 2015, with $135.00 payable to: Regina Pat Canadians, c/o John W. Smith, Manager, 1727 Truesdale Drive, Regina, Sk., S4V 0M3. Please complete the registration form in a clear and readable format (especially any email addresses you include). (Cheques may be postdated to March 12, 2015. (For players invited back to Fall Camp, the registration fee will be $135.00).

Some parents of first year bantam players have expressed a concern that their son might not be physically ready to compete in a camp where you have some of the older Midget AAA players participating as well. You know the physical capabilities of your son, so if you feel that he is not ready then please do not feel obligated to register. This will not jeopardize our interest in having your son try out for us next year.

You may also register at our registration night held Wednesday, March 11, 2015, between 6:30 to 7:30 pm at HOCKEY REGINA, 1308 Winnipeg St. (If you pre-register by mail, there is no need to come to this pre-registration night.)

I want to thank-you for your consideration in participating at our camp. We wish you all the best in your hockey playing endeavors.

Attached, please also find a tentative schedule of times. This schedule is based on two pools of four teams. The coaches will be placing all players on teams, so players will be notified by email as to their first ice session once we have confirmed the final numbers. Information will be sent to the parent’s email address.

If you have any questions about the spring camp please call me at (306) 536 5056.

Sincerely

John W. Smith, Manager Blair Watson, Executive Director, Hockey Regina Inc.
