3.2Non­aviationactivities

1.Thetotalamountofsiteareaandassociatedcarparkingandaccesswaysusedforactivitiesthatarenotassociatedwithaircraftoperationsorassociatedwiththeoperationoftheairportmustnotexceed15hectares.

2.Developmentthatdoesnotcomplywithclause1aboveisadiscretionaryactivity.

Inadditiontothegeneralassessmentcriteriainclause2.3oftheGeneralprovisions,thecouncilwillconsidertherelevantassessmentcriteriabelowforthedevelopmentcontrolinfringement.

1.Scaleandformofthebuilding

a.Whethertheproposedheightofthestructurewillhaveanadverseeffectonairportsafety.

2.Amenityofadjoiningsites

a.Whethertheproposedstructurewillhaveanadverseeffectonthevisualandlandscapeamenityvaluesofadjoiningsites.

3.Visualamenity

a.Whethertheproposedheightofthestructurewillhaveanadverseeffectonvisualamenityvalues.

b.Whenassessingstorageareas,whethertheproposalincludesmethodsofensuringanypartsofanactivityvisiblefromanypublicplacewillbemaintainedinatidyconditionandwhetherlocationofbyproductsorrefuseshouldbescreenedfrompublicviewinordertomaintainareasonablelevelofvisualamenity.
