THE PENINSULA SHANGHAI LAUNCHES THE AZIMUT 47 FLYBRIDGE PRIVATE YACHT, OFFERING BESPOKE EVENT PACKAGES AND CRUISES ON THE HUANGPU RIVER

The Peninsula Shanghai heralds the arrival of a new Azimut 47 Flybridge yacht to the existing fleet of luxury vehicles serving the Hotel. Decorated in the timeless and graceful livery of The Peninsula Shanghai, the 14.5-metre cruiser will allow up to 10 passengers to enjoy the iconic skyline and dramatic waterways of China’s largest metropolis.

Azimut is an industry-leading Italian yacht producer, renowned for its innovation in safety and technology, and the exceptional build quality, superior comfort and outstanding elegance of its vessels. The Peninsula Shanghai seeks to harness the innovative spirit of the Azimut brand to further reinforce the hotel’s gold standard in excellence and luxury hospitality.

The Azimut 47 will enter service in March 2017, offering guests unrivalled experiences along Shanghai’s Huangpu River. Hotel patrons will enjoy sumptuously outfitted and spacious interiors, designed with maximum comfort in mind. Large windows encircle a luxurious galley, offering unrivalled waterborne views and an abundance of natural light for a magnificent ambience by both night and day. The flying bridge, bedecked with lavish sofas, will offer spectacular 360-degree views of the beating heart of the city center.

The yacht will be available for charter, hosting elegant lunch or evening cruises, private functions, family celebrations, special parties and cocktail receptions. Bespoke packages will be available upon arrangement.
