The readers of US-based luxury travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler magazine voted ThePeninsula Parisas the Best Hotel in France, and The Peninsula Shanghai as Best Hotel in China
The Peninsula Hotels won various awards in the 28th annualCondé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards for the Best Hotels and Resorts in the World. Leading the way was The Peninsula Shanghai, which was voted Best Hotel in China, and The Peninsula Paris and The Peninsula Bangkok, which were named the Best Hotels in their respective cities. Readers of the influential US-based travel, tourism and lifestyle magazine also voted The Peninsula Paris among theworld’s 50 best hotels. The Peninsula Bangkok was named Best Hotel in Bangkok, and The Peninsula Manila was voted 7th in the Best Hotels in South East Asia(excluding Singapore and Bangkok), the only hotel in the Philippines to make the list.In the United States, The Peninsula Chicago and The Peninsula Beverly Hills both placed third in their respective cities.
Just one year after opening, The Peninsula Pariswas voted as the Best Hotel in Paris, the fifth Best Hotel in Europe, and placed 48th on the Best Hotels in the World list.
