Independent Consulting Agreement

This Agreement is entered into by and between California Municipal Treasurers Association and Conference Resource Center, LLC / Rita Corbinook.

California Municipal Treasurers Association desires to obtain Conference Resource Center, LLC / Rita Corbinook in connection with the consulting services set forth:

Services: On-Site Conference Management

Details – Scope of Work

1. Schedule Pre Convention meeting 24 to 48 hours in advance of Conference to review event expectations/procedures/contacts/meet primary hotel staff and introductions of CMTA’s Conference Committee

2. Setup Office

Shipping Receiving, Storage, Handouts(CMTA Offices - Meeting Office, Press Room, Speaker ready Room)

3. Registration

Assist as needed

4. Conference Room Logistics

Check Meeting Room and Audio Visual Setups

Check Group Detail Reports (GDR) from hotel. Compare with CMTA’s specifications. Advise hotel immediately of changes or approval

Work w/hotel to resolve any last-minute changes

Exhibitors – Greet/Direct

Anticipate potential problems

Make sure service meets CMTA’s expectations

5. Daily Responsibilities

Secure printout each morning of all rooms in house and a report of any “no shows or cancellations”

Meet with hotel contact to review any changes in program and/or meal counts

Each afternoon meet w/accounting to review the bills from the day before, verify information

Check Meeting Rooms/Signage/AV Setups

Conference liaison between Hotel Staff and CMTA

6. Post Meeting Follow Up

Review the bills; solicit feedback immediately from CMTA & Hotel

The parties do hereby agree as follows:

1.Agreement Conference Resource Center / Rita Corbinook shall provide toCalifornia Municipal Treasurers Association conference planning assistance for On Site Conference Management for Annual Conference in April 2011 (Sunday, April 17, 2011 through Friday, April 22, 2011).

2. CompensationOn Site Conference Assistance Fee: $550 per day. Expenses reimbursed for guestroom, meals, internet fees and travel associated w/onsite services.

3. DepositNonrefundable deposit due Conference Resource Center, LLC / Rita Corbinook of 50% of total onsite daily fee to secure calendar.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Consulting Agreement as of the date set forth by their signature below.
