All Souls: we will remember the Faithful Departed at Mass at 7.30pm this Thursday. Please add any names to the list.
Quiz Night with‘Fish and Chips’ Supper: this Friday 3rd November at 6.30pm. Ticket are £10 per person. Please bring your own drinks. See Fr Stuart if you cannot eat fish. Payment is now due. A few places still available.
International Dinner Evening: will take place on Saturday 25th November 6pm to 11pm. Adults £15, under 10s £10. This will be an evening for us to celebrate the Church family at S Albans with dinner and music. Please sign up on the list.
Christmas 2017: we will soon be promoting our annual Grand Draw, which will take place after the Carol Concert on 17th December. Raffle prize donations are invited. We are also looking for contributions towards the festive decorations and celebrations. Please see Fr Stuart.
Nine Lessons and Carols: our annual Carol Service will be at 6pm on Sunday 17th December. Refreshments afterwards and the Grand Draw.
St Alban’s Singers: the inaugural concert given by the newly formed St Alban’s Singers will be at 7pm on Wednesday 20th December. Tickets are £5 (under 16’s free). Light refreshments included.
Advent Day Retreat: our neighbouring Parish of St Mary’s are organising an Advent Retreat Day at Pleshey Retreat House on Saturday 16th December from 10am-5pm. Cost is £12.50. No transport but lifts are available. Please see Fr Stuart if you are interested.
Bruges Retreat 2018: Fr Stuart will be leading a Retreat to Bruges 8th – 15th June 2018. Staying at the Groenhove Convent, on the outskirts of Bruges. Day trips to various sights and places; full board (except lunch of the trips and the final Restaurant dinner in Bruges). Cost is approximately £600. Please see Fr Stuart for further details.
Walsingham 2018: the weekend of Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September in 2018. At the moment we do not have sufficient firm commitments to make the Pilgrimage viable. Please see Gwen Dodkins as soon as possible if you would like to come. We will decide on Sunday 5th November if we are going ahead.
