Class sets
Especially in the case of Key Stage 2 it is better to have individual packs of resources to give to individual children or pairs as opposed to bulk class sets. By using a simple numbering each child knows which resources he or she is responsible for and respect for resources can be instilled.
In most cases I recommend the cheap version of a resource however I can not stress enough how cheap pencils are false economy.
These resources could be kept in a shared area as using a numbering system different classes could use them.

Both Poundland and The Pound Shop sell 5 rolls of adhesive tape for £, bulk buying this proves very useful for sculpture.
Homebargins sell canvases from £1 .29
9mm MDF ( Approx £13 per 4ft by 8ft sheet) is useful for drawing boards
Photocopy paper boxes is thick enough to sculpt with but thin enough for pupils to be able to cut
Some supermarkets will provide flat packed boxes if you show them a school letter head

With any form of printing it is a good idea to have a portable flat surface, hardboard is the perfect material. Available from most timber merchants for around £5 per 4ft x 8ft sheet. Some timber merchants will cut to size free others will charge
