Cache$wap

The object of this game is to have fun and excitement.

Procedure:

  1. Bring a cache with you to the event. It can be purchased one from the geocaching store or aninteresting homemade camouflaged one (Think Randco©, InfiniteMPG©, Hawkhaven©, Weblizard©). Think about what you would like to get back in the Cache$wap.
  2. Containers should be medium to large. Nanos or micros will not be accepted.
  3. Must have an Official Geocaching label if applicable.
  4. Must contain a log, baggie and pen if applicable.
  5. Must contain a least 3 pieces of swagif applicable.

How the game will work:Caches will be placed in specially marked area, each owner will be given a randomly chosen number to participate in theCache$wap.

At the 4 PM raffle drawing, all participants will come together and organized themselves by number order.

No opening of the container while the game is taking place. Containers will be opened at the end of the game.

Rules:

  1. The person with the first ticket will start the swap. The first person takes their choice of caches from the table and their turn ends.
  2. The person with the second ticket and then the remaining ticket holders can either select from the remaining caches on the table or "steal" a cache from any previous player.
  3. A person who has his/her cache stolen from them gets to either steal a cache from someone else or choose a replacement cache from the cache table.
  4. You cannot immediately steal back the cache that was stolen from you. You must wait at least one round or turn before stealing back a cache that was once in your possession.
  5. There will be a maximum of 3 steals per round or turn. After the third cache is stolen, the player whose cache was just stolen must choose a cache from the cache table, and the round or turn ends.
  6. The same cache cannot be stolen more than three times, the person who stole it the third time gets to keep that cache.
  7. After the last player has made their selection, then the person with the first ticket gets one last chance to steal a cache if they want to since they did not get a chance to steal in the beginning.
