The Northern Ireland Stand:

  • 3102sqm.
  • To accommodate 17 exhibiting companies.

Packages available:

  • External–Exhibitor space
  • Internal – Exhibitor space

Selection Process:

  • Invest NI aims to accommodate 17client companies on the Northern Ireland site.
  • Exhibiting companies will be a selection of new and existing participants.
  • Invest NI aims to accommodate as many export sales focused companies as is reasonably possible.
  • In order to be considered, companies are invited to submit a completed Booking Form, by Friday 05 January 2018.
  • Invest NI will make the decision regarding;participating companiesand the location/ size/dimensions of spaces offered. Space can only be offered if your client executive approves your participation.
  • All exhibitors on the Northern Ireland site must staff their stand for the duration of the show.

Travel and Accommodation:

Maximum Financial Assistance:

•Accommodation: £75/room/person/night x 2 persons x 5 nights = £750

•Flights: return economy flights, capped at £100/person x 2 persons. = £200

•Assistance towards associated stand costs to a maximum pay-out of £2250 for

external site (i.e.£4500 approved incurred costs x 50% financial assistance) and a

maximum pay-out of £750 for pavilion/internal site (i.e.£1500 approved incurred

costs x 50% financial assistance).

Financial Assistance:

Financial assistance will be paid in arrears and only upon receipt of a completed Invest NI evaluation questionnaire, appropriate receipted invoices and proof of payment.

Stand contractor:

  • Invest NI will appoint a contractor to design and build the Northern Ireland stand.
  • Our contractor will liaise with each of our stand exhibitors directly.
  • Details of our appointed stand contractor will follow shortly.

Exhibitor Meeting:

  • A least 1 x representative from each company that is exhibiting on the Northern Ireland site at Hillhead 2018, MUST attend the pre-show exhibitor meeting.
  • This meeting enables you to meet the stand contractor, Invest NI executives involved in the project and fellow exhibitors.
  • The meeting provides the opportunity to exchange information/ideas, and discuss the pre-planning and onsite arrangements.

Stand costs & packages:

External - Exhibitor space
Price/sqm: After 50% grant assistance, space will be offered at:
  • £21.50/sqm + VAT (£25.80/sqm incl VAT).

The stand package includes:
  • External space
  • Company name feature
  • Power supply and socket to a temporary office. (Temporary office to be supplied by the exhibitor*).
  • Catalogue entry
  • Exhibitor passes
*Please note, you will be responsible for hiring a temporary office and internal/external furniture if required. You may wish to appoint our stand contractor to handle this. The financial assistance below can assist towards these costs.
Financial Assistance:
Assistance towards associated stand costs to a maximum pay-out of £2250. (i.e.£4500 approved incurred costs x 50% financial assistance). Payable towards:
•Carriage: Separate transport for products to exhibition and return. (Excludes man hours and expenses).
•Hire costs: For hire only (not the purchase) of approved equipment for exhibition stand including; marquis tent, porta-cabin, furniture, stand fittings (shelves, plinths) plants, electrical fittings, AV equipment, internet/wifi.
•Graphics: Graphics/photographs for the sole use on the stand.
Maximum travel and accommodation pay out of £950
Assistance towards travel and accommodation costs as follows:
•Accommodation: £75/room/person/night x 2 persons x 5 nights = £750
•Flights: return economy flights, capped at £100/person x 2 persons. = £200
•Paid against receipts, Ts&Cs apply.
External Exhibitor, maximum pay-out ref financial assistance = £3200 (£2250 + £950)
To claim for financial assistance:
  • Submit your claim for financial assistance within 2 months of the end of Hillhead, ie by 28thAugust 2018.
•Submit your completed Evaluation Questionnaire.
•Include original invoices
•Include proof of payment (bank statement/credit card statement/or reimbursement of expenses from company to employee if a personal credit card has been used).
•Please note, invoices paid by cash will not be eligible
•Financial assistance will be paid in arrears and only upon receipt of a completed Invest NI Evaluation Questionnaire, appropriate receipted invoices & proof of payment.
Post Show Questionnaire:
•In order to evaluate and improve our service, we require your feedback.
•It is an auditor’s regulation, that Invest NI cannot process your financial claim, unless we are in receipt of your completed Evaluation Questionnaire.
•In June 2018, we will forward exhibitors a questionnaire that must be completed and submitted with your claim.
Pavilion/Internal - Exhibitor space
Price/sqm: After 50% grant assistance, space may be offered at:
  • £260/sqm + VAT (£312/sqm incl VAT) PLUS 2sqm display area outside the pavilion. (2sqm @£21.50 + VAT = £43+VAT)
  • E.g. a 6sqm internal stand = £1560 + VAT (£1872 incl VAT) plus £43 + VAT= £1603 + VAT

The stand package includes:
  • Individual shell exhibition stand/workstation within the Northern Ireland Pavilion (approx 6sqm)
  • 2sqm display area, on the paved space outside the pavilion (to display product)
  • Company name feature
  • Power Supply
  • Lighting
  • Furniture (1 x cupboard, 1x bistro table and 3 x chairs)
  • Shared use of the hospitality facilities within the Northern Ireland Pavilion
  • Catalogue entry
  • Exhibitor passes
