The NJ APSE Board of Directors Is Made up of a Steering Committee and Additional Board Members

Board of Directors

The New Jersey APSE Board of Directors is made up of a group of dedicated people who are committed to ensuring employment outcomes for people with disabilities.

The NJ APSE Board of Directors is made up of a Steering Committee and additional Board Members.

The Steering Committee includes the President, Vice President(s), Immediate Past President, Treasurer and Secretary. All of these terms are two years in length.
A general Board Member serves a term of 3 years. If a Board Member becomes a member of the Steering Committee, the 3 year term becomes suspended until the two year term is completed.

All NJ APSE Board Members are expected to, at minimum:

Maintain a current APSE Membership

Sign and follow the code of ethics

Willing to commit to a term of 3 years

Attend Board meetings regularly (3 times per year) and the Full Day Annual Board Retreat

Participate on at least one of the NJ APSE Committees or activity/task planning workgroups

Attend the annual conference, and at least one other annual event (Leadership Link, Community Conversation).

Be directly involved in supported employment, be a stakeholder, or have job responsibilities related to employment for people with disabilities.
