Saturday 6th February 04:15hrs.

Suspect unknown were heard to try to pull open a conservatory door but no entry gained.

SHED BURGLARIES.

RIDGEWELL Mill Road

Between Friday 5th February and Saturday 6th February in the early hours.

A highly modified Chris Boardman CX team 14 road bike v £2000 was taken.

A child’s bike , weight lifting weights was also taken but discarded.

BRAINTREE Coldnailhurst Avenue

Thursday 4th February – Overnight.

Suspect gained entry to a small storage shed by pushing the door forcing the lock top pop out. A black & orange radio controlled petrol Triumph car and a blue and green Rex X petrol radio controlled car.

SOCIAL CLUB BURGLARY

SILVER END Broad Way

Thursday 4th February – Overnight

Suspects broke the handle of the window to gain access to a Social Club but it is unknown if anything was taken.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

WITHAM Rickstones Road

Monday 8th February - Overnight.

Suspect unknown entered a Ford Transit Van and an Angle Grinder, a Router, various Brick layer tools, a jigsaw and a drill taken.

The suspect claimed he would return to complete the work but did not come back until 9am on Monday, November 23.

Dc Chris Sedgwick, of Braintree CID, said: "He claimed he had carried out the repairs but the victim had become suspicious and had already had the work carried out by another builder at a significantly lower cost.

"She challenged him and he asked her to go inside and write her name on a slip of paper.

"After the man left, she found a four figure sum of cash had been stolen.”

The suspect is described as white, aged about 50 years old, 5ft 7ins tall, of large build and with brown hair.

He wore a brown and green checked shirt or waistcoat.

DWELLING HOUSE BURGLARY

HATFIELD PEVEREL New Road

Friday 12th February between 07:30hrs and 21:15hrs.

Suspect unknown gained entry by smashing the glass on a rear conservatory door. Various items of jewellery was taken including a gents Rolex watch, an I-Pad and a laptop.
