The Most Active House

Aim

To strengthen the team spirit, enhance the sense of belongings and community service among the House members.

Target

All members of House Programme of Faculty of Education, University of Macau (House as a participating unit)

Scoring

  1. There must be at least 2 Year-1 House members participating in the activity. Only ONE highest score will be given in each activity no matter how many items included in the same activity.
  2. In accordance with the activity’s nature, there are 3 scoring criteria as shown below. The scores will be accumulated until the end of this academic year. The highest score of the House will be the Champion.

(a)Social Gatherings: Tea Gathering, Party, BBQ…etc. (1 point)

(b)Self-development Activities & Sport Activities: Learning Group, Seminar, Basketball, Badminton ... etc. (2 points)

(c)Community Service: Rest Home Visit, Beach Cleaning, Voluntary Teaching …etc. (3 points)

Awards

The “Most Active House Award” will be awarded to one House of each major. The House with the highest accumulated scores will be awarded. If more than one House got the highest score, the evaluation will be based on each activity’s nature so as to count the most valuable and meaningful activities.

Prize

A one-time sponsorship for House activity - MOP$2,000

Application and Reimbursement Procedure

  1. The House Leader or Associate House Leader should inform the General Office by email about the followingdetails of the sponsored House activity 7 working days prior to the activity day (please send to ). The General Office will reply by email about the approval status of the activity sponsorship before the activity day:

- Activity date;

- Venue;

- Service provider (such as venue or meal) and the reasons.

  1. The House Leader or Associate House Leader should submit the following reimbursement documents toFED General Office within 2 weeks upon completion of the sponsoredactivity
  1. A completed “Reimbursement Form for House Programme Activity Fund” (Form can be obtained in FED General Office or downloaded from the FED website
  2. Original receipt(s) of expenses for the sponsoredactivity with signature of the House Leader or Associate House Leader;
  3. Activity photo(s) in digital form (please send to ).
  1. One receipt cannot be used for reimbursement of more than one activity.
  2. The reimbursement will be paid to the House Leader or Associate House Leader’s bank account via autopay after the above reimbursement documents are received and processed.

Remarks

The sponsorship prize must be used in the House activities which involve participation of at least half of the House members. All receipts must be submitted to FED General Office within 2 weeks upon completion of the activities.
