New Business

• Kim discussed LRC budget and sensory room funding related to Ms. Kardong’s grant. Become a vote-able item, LRC budget at $150, can increase to $300 but allocate extra to books. Discussion, its part of classroom enrichment, part of a pool. LRC & Secondary share a pool of money, physical classrooms get $150. Sensory Room just for LRC? Clarification; Sensory Room is for school wide use. Sensory Room maintenance fund – keep it as “other” in the budget.

One Time Events

• Art Walk – Katy Boehm is no longer chairing this event. Special Needs projects are underway. Discussion on budget and income, $900? Income of $500 last year. Fundraising this year? Clarification; no Art Shop this year, so only income will be from Spring Dessert donations.

• Stem Night – Liberty Robotics. Looking for volunteers.

• Science Fair - 40 kids signed up. Classrooms tour on Friday night. Judging was very strict last year, it’s a sensitive subject. Pass award ribbons out early so they are on the projects for all to see.

Mid-Year Survey - Darlene

• Reviewed results, only 27 responses. One person reported a very poor experience with a PTA member, no details given.
