Members present:

Clerk Collins, Trustee Dopkowski. & Treasurer Early. Trustee Mancik. Supervisor Heath

The meeting was called to order at 7:05pm.

Supervisor Heath called the meeting to order.

The pledge of allegiance was recited.

Public Comment : None

Agenda Additions or Changes:

Supervisor Heath made a motion to accept agenda, 2nd by Trustee Mancik Motion Carried

Minutes: (Dec 14, 2017)

Trustee Dopkowski made a motion to accept the minutes, 2nd by Trustee Mancik. Motion Carried

Disbursements: Clerk Collins read the disbursements. Payroll: $ 6,473.81

Report on file Bills: $ 7,977.51

Total: $ 14,451.32

Trustee Manick made a motion to accept report, 2nd by Trustee Dopkowski Motion Carried

Fund Balances: Treasurer Early said that there are 2 CDs due tomorrow, 1 in Feb. & 1 in March. Statement on file.

Supervisor Heath made a motion to accept report, 2nd by Trustee Mancik. Motion Carried

Building Report: Trustee Mancik read the building report. Report on file

There were 3 permits issued in the month of December totaling $298.75. Dave Friend worked 2 hours at the hall, made 3 inspections. There were no Mechanical, Plumbing or Electrical inspections. November expenses were $214.05

Clerk Collins made a motion to accept report. 2nd by Trustee Dopkowski. Motion Carried

Assessors Report:

Supervisor Heath made a motion to accept report. 2nd by. Trustee Mancik. Motion Carried

Milan Fire Dept. Report: Fire Board meeting is next week

Unfinished Buisiness: Rice Cemetery:

The Board discussed the plan options for the new cemetery. They agreed that they would like there to be a common area in the middle/back with circular drive. The driveway needs to be moved over the easement area. Option 2 was the overall plan with the driveway revisions. Supervisor Heath will request a new drawing to reflect the changes.

Budget Amendment for Furnace/Increase $4,500.00:

Insurance paid $2,300.00 toward the $2,800.00 total bill. Clerk Collins is going to request that the frozen plumbing be covered under the same claim. We do not need to do anything at this time.

Land Split Application/Ordinance Clarification:

The Planning Commission is working on revising the wording on the application. The Board Tabled this until they revise.

ID Tags: Deputy Clerk presented 2 sizes and asked which size the Board liked better. They liked the larger 2”x3” size.

New Buisiness:

Amendment to Budget/Communications increase by $4,000.00 (Phones) & increase $3,000.00 for Deputy Clerk:

Supervisor Heath made a motion to increase the Budget under Communications by $4,000.00 and Deputy Clerk by $3,000.00, 2nd by Trustee Mancik Roll Call Vote: T-Early: Yes T- Mancik: Yes, S- Heath: Yes, T-Dopkowski: Yes, C-Collins: Yes Motion Carried

MTA Conference In Traverse City, April 24:

Clerk Collins asked who all was interested in going to the conference. Trustee Mancik, Trustee Dopkowski & spouce, Clerk Collins and Deputy Clerk Heath would like to go. She will start making the reservations.

Trustee Mancik: Saw 2 e-mails from the website. Were they responded to? Yes..

Trustee Dopkowski: None

Clerk Collins: Need to correct the minutes from last month. The Building report total should have been $479.70.
