The Meaning of Matthew Quote Journal

For the first ten chapters of the book, you will be keeping a quote journal. You will respond to ten quotes, seven provided below and three of your choosing.

Directions

For each quote, you need to do the following:

Label the quotes with chapter and page number.

Explain each quote in 3 ways and number each part:

  1. What was going on in the chapter when this text was written
  2. Explain the quote’s significance in the book: How does it fit in? Why is it important?
