Stars & Skates:Aussie Skate levels, Preliminary to Senior& Adult Artistic

Synchro Challenge: Aussie Skate to Open

Technical Requirements:

In accordance with ISA Regulations published on and applicable ISA Communications dealing with 2012 requirements, and ISU Regulations & applicable ISU Communications published on

  • Free Skating/Free Dance Programs Only in all events
  • Adult Singles – Dance, Pairs, Free programs only
  • Solo Dance –Free Dance only

Practice:There will be no official practice sessions.

All competitors must be financial members of their State Associations, an affiliated Club and Registered with ISA at close of entries

LCCFSS reserve the right to limit entries to a maximum of 3 per State Association per event, if necessitated by the overall size of the competition.

Withdrawals:Refund only with a medical certificate provided before the draw (less 10% administration fee). No refund after the draw.

Marking:Closed marking. The 6.0 System will be used for Aussie Skate Levels (Southern Classic) and All Levels (Stars and Skates).

IJS System for all other divisions.

Trophies:Trophies will be awarded for the first 3 placegetters in each event.

Medals will be awarded for the first 3 placegetters in the Synchro Challenge.

Additional trophies will be awarded by LCCFSS for Club Champions.

Music:Competition music must be of excellent quality on CD. All CD’s must be clearly marked with the competitor’s name, event and music time. The official competition CD plus back-up CD must be submitted at the Registration Desk at the time of registration. CD’s must have only one piece of music per CD. Music may be retrieved from the Registration desk after the event.

Registration:Competitors must register at least 1 hour before the event.

Draws:The draw will be conducted at the LCC Sports Complex on Thursday 20th September, 2012.

Judges:Each State association is invited to nominate a Judge or Judges, Technical Controller and / or Technical Specialist for any of the scheduled events. These nominations must be advised to NSWISA before the closing date.

Photos / Videos:An official photographer will be taking photos at the event. Photos will be available for viewing and purchase. For private photographers, please note that no flash photography is allowed as it may be dangerous to the skaters. All private photographers are required to register at the Information / Registrations desk on the day of the event. Permit holders will only be permitted to video their child in their event. Parents may obtain a permit to allow the videotaping of their child by a third party. LCCFSS reserves the right to expel persons that do not comply with the established rules. No photography or videotaping will be permitted at any practice session or in event warm-ups.

Door:$ 5 adult and $ 2 per child or concession
