  1. Scope of Services
  2. Handle, negotiate and settle all insurance Third Party Claims ('TP Claims') below policy excess against KMB, LW, SBH and NHK ('the Companies') in connection with any accident or event involving any of the Companies' vehicles, property, business and/or social activities and conduct periodic review for 'likely liable' serious bodily injury claims.
  3. Pursue all Recovery Claims against any third parties (including legally represented third parties) in connection with any accident or event, resulting in any damage or loss to the Companies' vehicles and/or property, and/or injury or death caused to any employees, servants, agents and/or passengers of the Companies.
  4. Provide written advice / recommendation and arrange motor/property survey whenever applicable or upon request for both TP Claims and Recovery Claims.
  5. Attend all hearings in Small Claims Tribunal (including the preparation of all relevant documents) for TP Claims and/or Recovery Claims.
  6. Answer all telephone enquiries from the claimants and/or third parties in connection with the TP claims and/or Recovery Claims.
  7. Attend the accident scene, hospitals and other applicable sites to take necessary action for the purpose of investigation, explaining claims procedures and/or estimating reserve for serious/special accidents upon request.
  8. Attend trials, pre-trial meetings and mediation conference with the involved parties whenever applicable.
  9. Provide periodic statements of estimated outstanding liabilities each year.

2Noteworthy Points

2.1Interested parties shall be able to deploy a team to solely handle the Companies' TP Claims & Recovery Claims and shall not accept or participate in any work that will be in conflict with the interests of the Companies.

2.2Interested parties shall submit the completedPre-qualification Form (attached) to KMB Insurance Department by fax at (852) 2370 3025 before 3 July 2015, 9:00 p.m. (HKSAR time).Late submissions will not be accepted.

2.3There will be a pre-qualification selection.Each of the short-listed parties will be provided with a copy of the Tender Document (with further instructions) in July 2015.
