The Kevin J. Gately Foundation, Inc. is a tax exempt organization which exists to memorialize Kevin J. Gately by raising funds for the benefit of charitable interests that Kevin would have supported. These include but are not limited to: the DBA Foundation, educational scholarships (BF, AI, WIT), animal shelters, independent music, etc. Additionally, the Foundation exists to raise awareness of Diamond Blackfan Anemia and the importance of taking prescribed medications.
Proceeds from our previous events have been used to support the DBA Foundation and their continuing efforts "to collectively and actively generate funds for the charitable and scientific purpose of furthering, by clinical study, laboratory research, publication and teaching, the knowledge of the disorder known as Diamond Blackfan Anemia (DBA).”
On July 15, 2013, The Kevin J. Gately Foundation will hold a golf tournament at the Black Swan Country Club in Georgetown, MA. Our organization relies solely on private contributions to enhance the lives of the individuals and charities that we serve. If you could contribute, it would be greatly appreciated. We are seeking donations in the form of sponsorship and raffle prizes for this golf event. Please enclose a business card or letterhead with your donation and we will include your business advertisement in our display.
The proceeds from this event will go to support the DBA Foundation (www.dbafoundation.org) and other charities important to Kevin such as animal rescue shelters.
