The KentuckyRural Health Associationinvitesyouto submit aproposalforconcurrent sessions(panel,individualor group)forthe Annual ConferencescheduledforNovember 15-16, 2018 at the WKU Knicely CenterinBowlingGreen,KY.
Thegoalsoftheconferenceare:
- Provideanoverviewofthestateofruralhealth in Kentuckyand informparticipantsofcurrenteffortstoimproveruralhealthservices.
- Provideaforumforparticipantstointeractinorderto gainabetterunderstandingoftheimpactofvariousprograms/organizationsonruralhealth.
- Educateparticipantsonhowtobecomemoreskilled advocatesforruralhealth,atthelocal,regionaland state levels.
GENERALSUBMISSIONINFORMATION
1.Submissionsmustfollowthedirectionsforthe proposed categoryand mustbecomplete.Incompletesubmissionswillnotbereviewed.
2.Ifyouwanttosubmitthe sametopicinmorethan one type of presentation (panel, individual or group) include aseparate,fullsubmission foreachcategory.
3.Theproposalsubmissionwillalsoserveasapresenteragreementform inorderforSouthernKentuckyAHECto applyforContinuingMedical EducationCredit.
4.Makesureto alsoattachcurriculumvitaeor resumeandadisclosureform foreachpresenter/authorwithproposal.
5.Presentersmaynotuseanyconferencepresentationto marketproductsofservices;exhibitspaceisavailableforthatpurpose.
6.Presentations will be divided into similar topic tracks. Suggested topic areas to consider are Behavioral Health, Population Health, Policy/Advocacy, Innovative Strategy, and Leadership.

Apanelpresentationisathematic,interactive,andstructuredconversationbetweenapanelofpresentersandtheprogramparticipants.Panelsfeaturememberspresentingtheirideasonausabilityconcept,philosophy,design,professionalexperience,orotherrelevanttopic.Panelsarelimitedto4participantsto allowampletimefordiscussion.

- IndividualPresentation
Anindividualpresentationpertainingtoa ruralhealth theme and can bebasedonone’sownresearchandfindings;reportingoninnovativeprogram(s)orotherrelevantruralhealthtopicorprogram.

Acollaborativepresentationbetweenindividualsorgroupsonaruralhealth subject orthemeresearchedbythepresenters.
