The Ken C. Hicks Scholarship will be awarded to one of the twenty high school students selected as part of the Foot Locker Scholar Athletes Program. The scholarship honors Ken’s incredible legacy as former Chairman and CEO of Foot Locker, and recognizes his deep commitment to academic excellence. This exceptional individual will receive an additional $5,000 (for a total of $25,000) for demonstrating superior educational achievement as well as outstanding leadership, and a true love of the game. The recipient must have a personal passion and drive to succeed, demonstrate strong core values, bring others along, and participate fully and with enthusiasm, whether in school, in sports, or in their community. are due at 5pm EST on December 16.

The National MS Society’s scholarship program helps highly qualified students who have been diagnosed with MS or who have a parent with MS achieve their dreams of going to college. The program has grown since its inception in 2003 — when 36 scholarships were awarded for a total of $68,000 — to over $1 million awarded to 815 scholars in 2016. application must be submitted electronically via this website by 11:59 p.m. Central Time, January 18, 2017.

RISE Scholarship - Must be a current high school, college bound senior, who has submitted applications to and is planning on attending an accredited college or university. Must have an overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher on a 4 point scale (or equivalent). Must have a documented learning disability*, a diagnosis of ADHD or ADD alone does not qualify. The due date for all applications is January 31, 2017.

Gordon A. Rich Memorial Foundation college fund will accept applications in the Winter of 2016-2017 for grants for the 2017-2018 academic year. GAR's mission is to award grants to support the higher education goals of its recipients. The recipients of GAR scholarships are exceptionally qualified high school students with demonstrated financial need whose parents or guardians have, or had, a career in the financial services industry. The GAR Foundation awards a maximum of seven scholarships a year, the amount of each awards is up to $12,500.00 renewable for four years. Applicationdeadline is February 20, 2017.

AXA Achievement Scholarship -The AXA AchievementsScholarship provides over $1.4 million in scholarships to young people throughout the nation representing all 50 states, Washington DC and Puerto Rico. Students have the opportunity to receive a $2,500, $10,000 or $25,000 scholarship. In addition, for every student who wins a scholarship, a grant in the amount of $1,000 will be made to the winner’s school.Our scholarship winners are known as AXA Achievers. They are ethnically and economically diverse, but they share these qualities: Ambition and drive, Determination to set and reach goals, Respect for self, family and community and Ability to succeed in college. The 2017 program will be accepting applications until 10,000 applications are submitted or 11:59 pm on December 15, 2016, whichever comes first.

BURGER KING℠ Scholars program has awarded $28.3 million in scholarships to more than 26,800 high school students, BK® employees and their families across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico since 2000. In 2016 alone, the Foundation awarded $3 million to more than 2,800 students in North America.Scholarship grants range from $1,000 to $50,000 and are intended to help students offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. The Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance is proud to award $4,000 to one student each semester whose life has been impacted by cancer.The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to college students in their pursuit of higher education. If you’ve battled a form of cancer yourself, or witnessed a loved one receiving treatment. This scholarship is offered nationwide to United States citizens. 2017 National Space Club and Foundation Keynote Scholar Application

Provided to a high school senior, undergraduate or graduate student with definite plans to pursue a career in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) fields. The scholarship is open to seniors in high school through graduate students. The applicant must have the intention of pursuing a career in the STEM fields and plan to attend an accredited U.S. college or university to follow a course of study to pursue a career in the STEM field, with a preference for those with space related interests. The applicant can only use the $10,000.00 scholarship towards tuition for the 2017-2018 academic year.

The James Alan Cox Foundation for Student Photojournalists aims to provide financial support to student photographers of high school and college age. Through a variety of funding, including equipment purchases and scholarships for college and technical school classes, the foundation�s mission is to expand educational and developmental opportunities for student photographers demonstrating interest, talent and financial need.Scholarship applications must be submitted between July 15, 2016 and Midnight, the Evening of November 15th, 2016.

Regeneron Science and Talent Search - The nation's oldest and most prestigious pre-college science and math competition, provides a national stage for the country's best and brightest young scientists to present original research to nationally recognized professional scientists. Regeneron increased the top award to $250,000, and doubled the awards for the top 300 young scientists and their schools to $2,000 each. Deadline November 15, 2016.

Doodle 4 Google - The Doodle 4 Google Contest is open to students in grades K through 12. To enter, you must create a Google doodle that tells the world “What I see for the future.” National Winner will have his or her doodle featured on the U.S. Google.com homepage for one day. He or she will receive: A $30,000 college scholarship A $50,000 Google for Education Technology Award for their school or non-profit organization, A trip to the Google Headquarters in California, A Chromebook or An Android tablet.
