Chinese Government National Scholarship
一. Applicant qualifications
The applicants have to be non-Chinese citizens with good health, come to China for studying undergraduate degree, with high school education and excellent marks, whose age can’t exceed 25. As the learners coming here for Chinese language study, they must have a high school diploma, and the applicants especially coming to study in major of Chinese language, their age can’t exceed 35 years old; As an ordinary students who come to study in China, they must have two years’ University study experiences or above, come to study all professional subjects including Chinese, their age can’t be beyond 45 years old:
二. Time of application
From March 1st,2015 to April 30th ,2015.
三.The application procedures:
1. The applicants are required to the embassy of China in their own country to apply for the scholarship support first, and then get the approval of the Chinese Government Scholarship Supportwith seal.
2. The applicants hold the approval of the scholarship support and related materials to contact our school, once it is checked by our school; the applicants will get an acceptation letter.
3. After the applicants get the acceptation letter, plz sign in the foreign students study in China council online system
4. The applicants are required to hand over the paper materials and the acceptation letter to the embassy of their own country.
四. Application Documents
The applicants must fill in and provide the following documents truly, correctly and completely (in duplicate).
1. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (filled in Chinese or in English). All applicants for this scholarship are required to fill in and submit the online application form. Applications through other methods are not accepted by CSC. Please print the application form after submitting it online. The CSC Online Application System for Study in China is available on

2 Highest diploma (notarized photocopy): If applicants are university students or already employed, they should also provide documents proving the students who would get graduation certificate on time or on-post employees. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with translations in Chinese or English.
3. A study or research plan. All applicants are required to submit a study or research plan. It must be in Chinese or in English.
4. Recommendation letters: Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors.
5. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (the original copy should be kept by the applicant. The form printed by Chinese quarantine authority could be downloaded from The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take medical examination as it is valid for only 6 months.

The applicants should submit an applications to the dispatch departments of HeiheUniversity or the Chinese embassy (consulate general)located in the host countries within prescribed time.

八. The standard of Tuitions
Full scholarship

Note:
1. If the scholarship students have extra requirements of experiment or internship, which outside of school teachingprogram, that cost will be borne by himself.
2. Basic learning textbook: refers to the necessary materials free of charge for designatedscholarship students,other materials would be borne by themselves.
3. A monthlyliving allowance for Scholarship students will be given out by the University to students,the standard is:
●Undergraduate andChinese language students: 1,400 Yuan/ month
● Study in Chinafor one academicyear or more,one-timepayment of1,500Yuan
5. Outpatientmedical expenses: The outpatient hospital cost of students at the Universityinfirmary or designatedhospital. Students need to paya certain percentage ofthe cost for the treatment under the relevantprovisions ofthe school.
6. TheChineseGovernment Scholarshipstudents’comprehensive insurance: the comprehensivehealth insurance coverage by the ChineseMinistry of Educationfor the scholarshipstudents in China. Mainly cover thecostof hospitalizationfor serious diseasesand accidental injuries of students. Insurance costs will be paid by the University wherethe scholarship students locate or designatedrelief agencies in advance, then claim the payment with relevant payment receipts from Insurance companies according to the stipulatedinsurance articles. The individualclaims from students will not be accepted.
7. Off inter-citytransportation:Whennew students cometothe Universityfrom thecity of the port of entryor the city where Chinese language courses(preparatory education) schools located; studentsfrom city of Chinese language courses(preparatory education) located to the city where professional colleges located; and hard seat (lying) train ticket of graduatesfrom the city of University located tothe port of exit. The mealsand over loading baggagecostsbe borne by thestudents themselves.
九. Admission andnotification
1.The qualifiedapplication materialswill be transferred to our University by China Scholarship Council, our University isresponsible for issuing the acceptance letter. The applicantdoes not meet theconditions orrequirements which required, the application will be regarded as invalid, and inadmissible.
2. Apply for exemptionfrom abroadfor undergraduate studies, and if the studentsdoes not meet therequirement level of our University, it is up to the University’s decision about the student category oradmitted as conditional admission. If the preparatory courses or extra Chinese lessons are needed before the professional study, the students can only start the professional study after pass the entrance exams during the study of Chinese language or preparatory study. The undergraduate students, who take the preparatory study and can not pass the exam within the prescribed period, should be closed downas Chinese language students.
3. The applicant may contact our Universityin advance, if the applicant got the admissionletter of University, please attach to the application materials, the students will have the priority for admission by CSCsendingthe application materials to our University.
4. After approvedby theCSC, theapplicants had been admitted by our Universityis eligible for theChinesegovernmentscholarship.
5.In principle, Scholarship students can notchange the intake institutions,professionallearningand learningperiod stipulated on"Admission Notice".
6. CSCwill send the "AdmissionList", "Admission Notice" and"ForeignVisa Application Formfor Study in China" (JW202 form)to Foreign StudentsManagementDepartment of our University by April 30th of 2015. The Foreign Students Management Department will pass the abovedocuments to the students.
