The international SLAM!Revue
For the 9th time the internationalen literaturfestivals berlin (ilb) presents the international SLAM!Revue. During the evening about 12 young and renowned poets (featuring two honour guests out of competition) can perform in all thinkable languages and try to gain the greatest audience´s applause that will decide the literary winner. The invited spokenword-performers come from the USA (guest of hounour is Hollywood star & slam poet Carlos Andrés Goméz) ,Australia, Austria, Cech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine and others. Interesting artists of the german scene are of course also invited!
In the last years the SLAM!Revue has became a highlight of the internationalen literaturfestivals berlin. Thanking a TV-Documentation of the ARTE channel and the ZDF in 2007 the SLAM!Revue achieved a great media interest: the four hours of the evening were recorded and showed in ARTE TV and in the Primetime of the ZDF-Theater channel.
