63 Emerald St. #610
Keene, New Hampshire
March 09, 2013
Eli,
As you know, your predecessor, Dick Foote, issued no-trespass orders against me – Ian Freeman (fka Ian Bernard), Kelly Voluntaryist (aka Lynne Sieradzki), Derrick J Freeman (fka Derrick Horton), Kate Ager, Pete Eyre, Beau Davis, and Jason Talley.
I believe you have been made aware that said no-trespass order was recently ruled as unconstitutional by Keene district court judge Edward Burke. In case you missed Burke’s decision, you will find a copy attached here.
The illegal trespass charges against me and Kelly Voluntaryist have been dismissed.
As someone who is sworn to uphold the NH constitution, please officially rescind your predecessors’ unconstitutional orders, in writing. Your deputies should also be trained to recognize what is and isn't a constitutional order. It would also be appreciated for you to issue an official apology on behalf of your department to these active members of the community who have had their rights trampled by being obstructed from accessing the Cheshire Superior Court for over a year.
Additionally, please issue a proclamation that the Cheshire County Sheriff will respect the rights of those who wish to access the courts, including members of the media. Please endorse the first amendment and assure people that your agents will no longer threaten or arrest people for using recording devices on courthouse property, as they have regularly done under the previous administration. Please make it clear that the Sheriffs will support the NH constitution and the media’s right to record in any public place over the illegal orders of a judge.
Please send your response in writing to the address above.
Thank you
______
Ian Freeman (fka Ian Bernard)
on behalf of:
Kelly Voluntaryist (fka Lynne Sieradzki)
Derrick J Freeman (fka Derrick Horton)
Kate Ager
Pete Eyre
Beau Davis
Jason Talley
