How Manga Took Over the World, until 19 April – Manga is a unique graphic art form and a global phenomenon. This Main Gallery exhibition looks at the effect that Manga has had on fashion, advertising, music, education, plus lots more in the 21st Century. A great exhibition for both kids and adults! Parallel Worlds: New Work by Steve Buck, 7 March to 4 May – This exhibition features work by one of the UK’s most highly respected ceramic artists, Steve Buck. Many large scale ceramic pieces will be exhibited for visitors to see. Free entry.

Looking Log Club, 7 March, 10am to 12noon – An arts, craft and design club for 14 to 18 year olds. Activities include pop art, photography, fashion design, graffiti art, building design, film making or textiles. £2 per session, including free sketchbook.

Discover Lincolnshire Weekend, 7 and 8 March – Many attractions in North Kesteven will open for free over the weekend, offering visitors the ideal time to see what each venue offers. Venues include: The Hub National Centre for Craft & Design, The Natural World Centre, Mrs Smith’s Cottage, Cranwell Aviation Heritage Centre, Cogglesford Mill and Navigation House.

Launch of Party Animals– The new Party Animals children’s parties have been launched and are proving successful. Parties include High School Musical, Pirates, Splash, Football Frenzy, Multisports, Soft Play and Little Squirts. The parties take place at Sleaford Leisure Centre, Northgate Sports Hall and North Kesteven Centre.

Free Swimming for Under 16s and Over 60s– From 1 April, anyone under 16 or over 60 can swim in public swimming sessions at Sleaford Leisure Centre or North Kesteven Centre for free. Everyone must register in advance at one of the centres. Leisure Connection in partnership with North Kesteven District Council is offering this new initiative to the public.
