Microform Collections at
The Hilandar Research Library
Users should be aware that permission to make copies from the microform collections of manuscripts in the Hilandar Research Library (HRL) is subject to prior contractual agreements between the HRL and the institutions holding the original manuscripts from which microfilms were made.
Please do not share these copies. If a colleague wishes to use the same materials, please direct them to us, so that we can send them a User Declaration and keep a record of all who utilize our resources.
When permission may be given for copying, we ask that you acknowledge the Hilandar Research Library at The Ohio State University in any and all publications that result from your use of these materials.
When the materials we provide you form a significant portion of your publication, you must send us a copy of said publication (offprints are sufficient for articles). Do not post the images on the Internet without specific and separate permission from the HRL.
In all cases where you have incorporated materials from HRL in your publication, please provide us at the very least with a full bibliographic citation.
For Hilandar Monastery materials only: The Monks of Hilandar Monastery must also be acknowledged along with the Hilandar Research Library in any published use of the Hilandar Monastery manuscript material. Two (2) copies of any resulting publications/s must be sent to the HRL.
